π Diwali is Beautiful β But Letβs Make It Safe for Our Pets πΎ
ππDiwali is on the 20th October in 2025ππ
While we celebrate the Festival of Lights with joy and fireworks, letβs not forget our furry companions who might not feel the same way. Loud noises and flashing lights can be terrifying for pets, leading to anxiety, disorientation, or even health issues.
Here are a few ways to keep pets safe this Diwali:
πͺ Keep Them Indoors: Create a quiet, comfortable space where your pet feels safe. Close windows and curtains to muffle sound and block flashes.
πΆ Play Calming Sounds: Soft music or white noise can help distract from the loud fireworks outside.
π£ Walk During The Day: Try to walk your dog during the day to avoid fireworks as much as possible.
π Tag Them Right: Make sure your pet is micro-chipped with up to date information and if possible that they are wearing a collar with ID tags, just in case they get scared and run off.
π‘ Avoid Fireworks Near Animals: Whether itβs street strays or your own pet, try to burst crackers far from animals and encourage others to do the same.
π Ask About Anxiety Aids: If your pet gets severely anxious, consult us for calming optionsβnatural or medical.
πΆπ± Spread Love, Not Fear This Diwali!π±πΆ
