Facts, not rumours.
Over the years, SalliPets has helped real dogs and real families through genuine rehoming situations — many of them urgent and complex.

Occasionally, anonymous online accounts make serious allegations without naming a dog, an owner, a date, a vet, or any authority report. These claims have never been substantiated.

No dog has died in my care due to neglect or abuse. Any allegation of criminal behaviour should be reported to the appropriate authorities. I fully cooperate with inspections and investigations.

For transparency, this page will share real adopter experiences, documented outcomes, and verifiable facts — so people can judge based on evidence, not internet noise.

Meet Narla 🐾
Narla is a lovely 11-month-old mixed-breed female who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of her own. Sadly, due to her owner’s ill health, they can no longer care for her.
She is good with other dogs and good with children. Narla has not been cat tested, so a home without cats or one willing to test carefully would be ideal.
Narla is still young and would thrive in a home that can offer her love, consistency and ongoing training as she continues to grow and develop.

RESERVED
My name is Drax, and I am an 18-month-old Daniff (Great Dane x Mastiff).
Personality
I am a very loving, loyal boy who absolutely adores cuddles. I sometimes forget just how big I am and may try to sit on your lap for affection! I love being close to my humans and will happily follow you from room to room in case you need me. I’m playful, gentle, affectionate, and eager to please.
Home Life
I can be left on my own for around 4–5 hours with a bone or treat and behave very well. I would thrive in a home where someone is happy to spend time with me and continue helping me learn and build confidence.
Night Time
I go out for a wee before bed and enjoy a “well done” treat afterwards. I sleep on my bed with a blanket in the living room, although I sometimes move it onto the floor if I get too warm. I am fully house-trained and usually need another wee after 8–9 hours.
Playtime
Tug-of-war is my favourite game (though I do chew through ropes quite quickly—sorry!). I also love treat-filled Kong toys, running in the garden, and I’m learning to fetch and drop, though I still need a little practice. I enjoy two 30-minute walks each day to keep me happy and settled.
Walking
I’m a big, strong baby but I don’t pull on the lead. I can be a little nervy with sudden or unfamiliar noises. I’m friendly with other dogs until they bark at me, which can make me unsure, so I would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
Training
I’m a very clever boy! I can sit, wait, lie down, and give both paws. I’m learning impulse control, such as leaving treats until told, and I can turn around on cue. I love agility-style play—jumping over obstacles in the garden and burning off energy. I’m highly food-motivated and always want to please my humans.
I am a loving, sweet, funny, and cuddly Daniff who will reward patience and kindness with unwavering loyalty and affection.

We have a dream....

SalliPets rehomes dogs that have been abandoned. Our objective is to be unique in our mission to help these dogs.

We rescue them, and they work with children that have emotional difficulties, are afraid of dogs or they need a four legged friend to confide in. Our work in this area is called Pet-A-Pet and is a trademarked name. Our dogs may work with the children for weeks, months or years and when the work is done we rehome our dogs.

Our rescues are always welcome to stay with us during their owners holidays, subject to availability. We are so pleased to have them back, whether it be a weekend or a month. They live in my home, are part of the family and that is why we like to have them back for holidays.

We are proud to call our Adopters family and some have adopted multiple dogs. Our work started in 2015 and although we rehome a small numbers of dogs, we are very proud of our little charity.
