My name is Ineta Stanley and i am dog trainer and
All my life i was mesmerized about animals, but my passion belonged to dogs. How similar they are to humans and how amazing and rewarding is to work with them and their owners. I have tried to do many jobs including: behind the bar, waitress, lifeguard, leisure manager, swimming instructor for children and adults, receptionist and administrator. N

o job made me happy, or felt like i am happy and thats what i meant to do or gave me bigger pleasure then working with dogs. Now, i have greatest job in the world :)

Dogs are our life, our family and we love taking our dogs on adventures. In a spur of the moment, we booked air b&b, packed up and went away only 1.5h away to seven sisters cliffs for a couple of days, so the dogs can enjoy swimming in the sea and have fun while practicing all the training.

I was very proud of all of them especially little lady, she is the youngest but definitely the smartest.

What does dog training mean to you?

Have you ever asked what dog training actually means, who is it for? Why should every owner/dog should attend classes? What should you learn?

1. Is to understand your dog?
Why they bite? Why they dig? Why they do things they do? Is it normal? Is it actually a bad behaviour or is it natural for a dog but may not be acceptable for human?
2. How do they learn? Do they understand human language? Do they understand the concept of the words? What is positive reinforcement? What is positive punishment?
3. What is is that you actually need to teach the dog? Sit, stay, leave, recall, walking nicely on the lead? As an owner do you actually know what is the right dog owner etiquette at the park? Should you allow every stranger stroke your dog? How do you protect the dog from other dogs or people? Do you understand dog body language?
4. Have you been watching TikTok video and decided that you want to teach the dog what you see on social media? Have you tried to train your dog with TikTok or YouTube videos?

Dog training is so much more than any of us can possibly imagine. It is not 1 lesson a week- it is dedication to do well by your dog! It is consistency- so the dog does loose its way! It is continuous learning from your dog so you can understand them better to build better relationship between you.

Too much to read- well that is reality of dog training. It’s not 1 min video, it is not 1 line on Facebook that will teach your dog.

As 2026 is only a couple of hours away, have you looked back at 2025? The good, the bad, must improve or what to have more of?!

Our year started with adding another golden baby to our family Kiana who is absolute superstar so different to our all boys or any dogs I had back home. Smart, clever, human eyes, so loving and mischievous all at the same time.

Another recognition of being Top of top 3 dog trainers in London and Dartford 2025 which one of the biggest achievements I could ask for, for such a small training school- and it’s all thanks to our customers for trusting us with their babies.

Then we went to Wales -Kianas first trip and she loved it.

Then betrayed and stabbed in the back by so called friend, unfortunately another one.
Why is it when you give people your heart and help them they turn into disrespectful, ungrateful humans who thinks they can be rude and nasty. If you notice that people unexpectedly disappear from my circle- is because they don’t deserve to be there. I will give my life for my people- but you hurt me……
But then it’s another life lesson to learn- be careful trusting people around you. Love them but keep them at arms length

And then summer in Lithuania, to get rid off all sh*tty atmosphere and forget the world for a bit spending time in fresh air, swimming in lakes and travel around Europe.

Then car breaks down and we still haven’t got her back. Can you believe it’s been 4 months. 🤞 soon all we can do is hope.

Then Kiana hurts herself, got better, and now hurt herself again- all from having an amazing life.

So how was your year? The good, the bad, the fun- it is all part of it- it is all how you deal with things that life throws your way.

I want to wish you for 2026 all the fun, love, adventure, happiness and less bad.

We live ones- so enjoy every day, tell people you love them and do not dwell on bad days. Travel with your dogs, go to different countries- the world is so big.

Every year Top Dog Training school host a Christmas Bbq for their Top Dog Family members.
It all started more then 10 years ago in a local park with local dog walkers at Franks Park- but we only did Mulled vine and some snacks while we were walking our dogs before Xmas celebrations.
Due to Covid and general life, people moving away, getting old- that tradition was stopped at the park.
Then a couple years back, we started Top Dog socialization walks and the Top Dog family grew with over 200 members.

We re started our tradition again, but adding a bbq with Mulled vine.

The last socialization session for the year, dogs and their owners coming to play together and have a good time topped with Xmas music, some Xmas jumpers (mostly dogs), warm vine and delicious food- what better do you want.

And all that to say thank you for all the amazing customers who carry on supporting Top Dog Training school even after their stopped training with us. But being there- they are supported through any trouble they have with their babies.

We love our community, we love our customers and we are grateful from a bottom of our hearts

Top Dog always looking ways to provide their customers with what they want. Many customers asked me about different natural chews for the dogs, but many shops are quite pricey- especially with £4 delivery. We can provide cheeper prices without delivery cost. We do not post the orders as there a lot of choice on line.

We are very happy that local community can actually come and collect from Top Dog in the different locations.

You can pick what you want from the list- and we can arrange a pick up.

We have a Friday pop up shop:

Saturday: Belvedere Junior School 9.30-10.30am

Sunday: Parkway primary school 9.30-11.30 am

And from January in any of our training sessions.

Who is Top Dog?

I used to be called a Foreign Blond Lady 😂 I know right- some people said oh how rude 😂 not to me as they couldn’t say my name properly Ineta. Lithuanian letter I is English E- in the word eagle.

Now- most of me know as Top Dog.

I was born in Lithuania 🇱🇹 Soviet Union times. At a very young age at nearly 20 years old. I have lived in UK more than 26 years - that means I lived in UK 🇬🇧 longer that I lived in Lithuania 🇱🇹.

My family is the most important thing in my world and I will do everything to protect them.

My customers is my Top Dog family and same rule applies to too- without them- there is no Top Dog.

Favorite thing in the world- obviously after dogs- travelling. If I could- I would love to visit every country in the world and learn all about them.
