My name is Ineta Stanley and i am dog trainer and
All my life i was mesmerized about animals, but my passion belonged to dogs. How similar they are to humans and how amazing and rewarding is to work with them and their owners. I have tried to do many jobs including: behind the bar, waitress, lifeguard, leisure manager, swimming instructor for children and adults, receptionist and administrator. No job made me happy, or felt like i am happy and thats what i meant to do or gave me bigger pleasure then working with dogs. Now, i have greatest job in the world :)

My father taught me one of the most valuable lessons in life. “Good business don’t keep looking for new customers- it takes care and values the old ones to stay and to keep coming back, while welcoming and growing with new”

What does that mean?
In each photo and video there is a dog of the owner who have been with me for a long time, the owner who came back to training with their new dog and even their now grown up children come to Top Dog to train their dogs.

Omg- guys, I have just received my Diploma in Service-assistant dog training.
It includes choosing the right, suitable to be a service /assistant dog and training.

And it is a distinction - wow I am slightly speechless with a distinction again!

Top Dog training school is unstoppable!

It is never too late to learn.

Can you Hoover your house around dogs without dogs attacking or running away scared from the Hoover.
Do you know how to train your dog not to be scared of Hoover?
Maybe you can share how you trained your dog not to be scared wile you cleaning the house.

Ps. The carpets/rugs are going to the washing machine.

My favorite days of the week- Sunday Socialization play. At the end of the session I get my treats and the dogs know it is time for some fun with Auntie.

Today, they had to find the treat- come back to me and only then I would throw another one.
Throw the treat, instead of find it, I used word “go” , when they come back, stay with me as I am walking around and then “go” again.

You are not just having fun with dogs but also training them, and as they having fun, they are not interested in anything or anyone else but you.

When you throw the treat, they use their eyes to see where it’s going, use their nose to find it, use their ears to hear further instructions, eyes again to see where I am and work out what is next.

5min of this game during the walk- makes them mentally tired, builds stronger relationships between you and dog, dogs not interested in anything else around them.

I would like to introduce you to another amazing person in Top Dog Family. This is Alana- she is a fully qualified and registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapist (IRVAP).
Alana- will be working with Koda after his surgery to help him recover and get back to normal life again.

Alana was introduced to Top Dog by one of our Top Dog Family (community) members while she was studying for her degree and needed dogs of different sizes to practice and asses with. As Top Dog is a huge community- we were more than happy to help.
Many of our members offered their pups to asses including myself. One of my babies has hip dysplasia in both hips from age of 12months and he is 7 years now. And my youngest lady Kiana- twisted her knee while running and stepped on an apple which we thought it is cruciate ligament too, but it’s Patella ligament that covers the knee and connects femur and tibia.
Alana is an amazing young woman with a huge passion to help dogs to heal and recover after injuries. Her knowledge is out of this world and the dogs feel her energy because they just let her do whatever she needs to do.
Have you noticed your dog is limping? Have hurt themselves and been told to rest? After surgery?
What Alana can do for you:

She offers full assessments for either maintenence or rehabilitation with consent of the veterinarian.
Also offer bespoke class 3b laser therapy, PEMF application for pain management.
Each consult will consist of questioning to the owners for the dogs background, analysis of movement, muscles and joints to note and once the list is formulated we then move onto massage, application of electrophysical agents that work on an intracellular level and exercises to take home. Full report write ups after each appointment

If I do notice lameness or concern this report should be taken to the vet for further analysis as we cannot diagnose 🥰

Simple- everything you will need in every day living with your dog.
We build strongest foundation for the rest of the dogs life, so if you decide to go to different training like: scent detection with or obedience with agility or stop the training- you will have the foundation that you will need in any other training or for the rest of your life.
But, don’t forget - it all depends how much you practice on daily basis.
Imagine you learning a new language- if you don’t practice or use it on daily basis- you will forget.
I speak 3 languages- but one of the languages I don’t really speak or use daily and I have forgotten many words.

How dirty carpets/rugs get dirty just after 1 week.

At Top Dog daycare & boarding we use washing machine washable carpets/rugs and runners. And that is just after 1 week.

Can you imagine how much dirt accumulate if the carpet is down all the time.

Statistics!
I wanted to share these statistics with all dog owners and our customers. These statistics show the NHS recorded dog bites.
Statistics show a large increase of dogs biting people. Obviously, we need to take into consideration that many dog bites have not been recorded because people didn’t seek medical help.

Please share your thoughts on why do you think dogs are more aggressive and biting people on such an increase?

We are very proud to introduce to you one of our Team members that many of our customers know and love Luke Urban k9 academy .
Luke has been part of Top Dog Team for nearly 3 years after he joined our classes with his own dogs - after two other dog training schools told him to put his reactive dog down (one of the babies that in pictures with Luke) . Yes- you read it correctly! Luke joined our training and absolutely fell in love with training.
After watching him with his dogs- I asked Luke if he would like to become a dog trainer, as a volunteer and learn from me . I was very happy he said yes as I gained an amazing human with huge passion for dogs and a friend- he is the only one I trust to take my own dogs & daycare dogs out. And that say everything you need to know.

While Luke has been with Top Dog learning- he also started gaining knowledge by doing different dog training courses, but, his head was turned by scent detection.

I am very proud how far he has come and so happy we didn’t turn him away with his boy, because he is now an amazing trainer too.
