Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Jonathan, founder of Honey’s Real Dog Food, along with a key member of their healthcare team, to the LMH Townhouse Dog Deli. 🐾
As a business, we believe it’s important that our team truly understands the products we recommend, which is why we love spending time with the people behind the brands we stock.
We had a fascinating discussion about raw feeding, canine nutrition and how dogs digest and utilise different foods. We learnt more about the ingredients that go into Honey’s recipes, where they are sourced from, and the philosophy behind producing an ethical raw dog food.
One of the things we appreciated most was the balanced approach to the conversation. Like any feeding choice, raw feeding is not necessarily right for every dog, and every dog is an individual with different needs, lifestyles and health considerations. What matters most is finding the right diet for your dog and making informed decisions based on good advice.
It was reassuring to hear that, like all responsible pet food companies, the Honey’s team is always available at the end of the phone to offer guidance and answer questions from pet parents.
We’re committed to continuing our education so that we can better support our customers and their dogs, and we’re delighted that Jonathan and his healthcare team will be returning to LMH in the future for dedicated Q&A sessions.
