Worth the trip to Oasby. Lovely dressage, one pole SJ and another xc clear. Short but sweet season. Just need to find more forward gears now 😂

Well that was a rather challenging day! Arrived to find Dougal with a nail through his frog. Wasn’t there when we picked his feet out before leaving stable to load. Checked and removed by vet which meant a 10 minute warm up for dressage. To say he was wired is an understatement! Lots of extra moves 😂. Clear show jumping then we had to trot up for vet before xc. All good so managed to pull a double clear out of the bag so dressage redeemed.
Home to tub and poultice the foot, fingers crossed it doesn’t abscess.
Just waiting to hear if we get accepted for Oasby now then. Fingers crossed.
Thanks always to our sponsors

Dougal having fun before Alnwick Ford. This boy has been a challenge but he’s finally realised cross country is fun with a lovely double clear in the BE80 to come 4th onwards and upwards to Askham Bryan in the 90.

Kee’s first ever event and she only went and bloody won it. What a mega little horse she is ( to quote a friend 🤣)She has schooled xc twice in her life, she has done a handful of showjumping competitions and three dressage tests and totally gets it. She has the most incredible brain. Bold and brave.
Totally utterly unfazed by the whole thing.
Is there anyone out there who’d like to buy her and let us keep the ride??

Wee reel of Kee today. Just love this little mare.

Kee being a total star at Burgham BYEH 4 year olds. Not to the judges liking but she behaved impeccably and tried her heart out. .

Superstar 4yr old Kee at Todburn. She’s a special one. Lots of top performers in her pedigree including two 4* eventers.
