BB, the ex-racehorse, is a poor-doer and needs calories all-year-round to maintain his condition ⬇

🌾 BB's Forage: 🌞 DAY: Ad-lib hay in the stable 🌙 NIGHT: Ad-lib grazing

⭐ Hard feed: 𝗡𝗼.𝟮𝟭 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 – a high fibre, high oil, low starch and low sugar blend, suitable for horses and ponies prone to gastric ulcers. This feed promotes condition using slow-release calories, so shouldn’t make your horse fizzy!

➡ Hard feed quantity: BB is fed twice a day = 1 and a half Stubbs scoop morning and evening. Even though his owner would like to add more ‘fibre’ calories to these meals, she can’t because it would make the meals too big and the nutrients would not be utilised effectively during digestion.

✅ Solution: Add British Horse Feeds 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲-𝗕𝗲𝗲𝘁 in a sperate bowl during the day, next to his ad-lib hay. This increases BB’s fibre intake using a buffet style; in turn giving him extra calories and more chew time. Fibre-Beet is low starch and sugar too, so suitable for those prone to gastric ulcers.
