This weeks update…

Ted has been signed off by the vet!!

Yesterday he had his first groom to blend in with his new look. The best we could manage as he is very nervous of his head being groomed since the op.

Nothing that our salon couldn’t handle, anything to keep our pups happy and comfortable 💚

Delivery Day & Notice of Price Increase ‼️

Due to the continued rising costs of stock and utilities, we have unfortunately had to make the decision to increase the prices of our DAF and Prime Raw Bulk Boxes, effective from tomorrow.

On a more positive note, today we received two massive deliveries from Durham and Prime Raw, so pop in tomorrow to get your freezers stocked up!

Pupdate ‼️

Just a little update on how Ted is doing after his emergency operation to have his eye removed last week.

After two precautionary trips back to the vets and an extra course of antibiotics, he has turned a real corner 😄

You may have spotted him lounging around the salon over the last couple of days, getting lots of love and attention. Today he even enjoyed a little run around and a cheeky break from the cone!

He’s still got some healing to do and some adapting to his new way of life, but he’s doing well and things are looking up. Thank you so much to everyone who’s sent kind messages, and given him so much love 💚

So…. My little man had an emergency operation today to remove his eye after it suddenly pr*****ed. Totally broken my heart and has my family. I will not be opening the shop on Tuesday the 14th as I need to look after my little man. APOLOGIES FOR THE GRAPHIC PHOTO 😭

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely outstanding meal at The Podgy Spaniel Steak & Fish House, East Preston this evening. We ordered the 14oz, 90-day aged Porterhouse steak, and it was exceptional. Cooked to perfection, beautifully tender, packed with flavour, and presented to a very high standard, it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had.

The sides were equally impressive. The mac & cheese was rich, creamy and indulgent, the seasonal vegetables were perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes were wonderfully smooth, and the chunky chips were crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and simply some of the best we’ve tasted.

A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team. The food, service, and atmosphere were all first class. It’s fantastic to have such an exceptional restaurant right here in East Preston. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! ⭐
