Talisman is doing well! He gave us a fright by getting choke last week and the vet had to rush out. But he seems as right as rain now and enjoying the sunshine!

Stable cottage- sleeps 3 (or 4 if you request a folding bed) - is now available for the week from 2nd - 9th August. The only family cottage available for that week!
In fact, act fast if you're looking to stay this summer as the only other family cottage we have for the whole holiday is Stable again for the following week (beginning 9th August).
If you're a family of three, don't forget we can fit a folding bed in most of our one-bedroom cottages. Some of them work really well like this as they have a fully-curtained conservatory which can act as a second bedroom. These ones are: Willow, Honeysuckle, Orchard and Annies.

Meet Talisman, named after one of the Looe Pilot Gigs, as he was born last week during the World Pilot Gig Championships.

His mum is Holly's ex-eventer, Sammy. This foal is very special as he comes after a few years of fertility struggles for Sammy and one lovely foal who had birth defects and had to be put down. We are over the moon with him - isn't he gorgeous?

Treworgey's Andy, and his crew from Looe Rowing Club, have just returned home after coming second in the open category at the World Pilot Gig Championships on the Scillies. (Andy is far right, carrying son Reuben). The event was a fantastic spectacle for the masses of people watching, and rewarding for the crew to be up on the podium yet again, after a winter of very, very hard training.
