Guys,

I’ve fallen head over heels in love again, with a photo ! and it’s worrying me !

She looks soo much like my Ruby Dave the Tripod Beagle ! And she’s broken and on 3 legs ………just like both my Elmo was/is, and my Ruby Dave The Tripod Beagle was when she found me !!

You all know I love a broken dog that no one wants (especially a Beagle !)

Can you guess whats wrong with her? Cause its not just one thing, its 3. The poor girl is one of the dogs we were send today from the dog warden of the local pound. Its full again and we were asked to help.
The photo we were send, was taken from above and kinda shoked us at first. Her right front paw was missing. Then when we zoomed the photo but we couldn't tell if the paw was folded or not. We ended up going at the local pound to see her leg and we ended up leaving with 3 dogs. 2 with leg issues and a very skinny pup.
The female beagle has the right front paw missing. Its not a fresh wound, its old and is partially healed but has a small opening. For obvious reasons we post a photo that doesn't show the cut. No need to say that we messaged our orthopedic vet straight away about her. Then we noticed that shes got hanging breasts. We were terrified that she has pups or is pregnant! We cant take another pregnant now! We have 4 already!!! After a first check up we saw she was in season so the breasts were caused from a phantom pregnancy.
While putting her in the car, we noticed that her right eye was looking as weirdly. Shes got a small scratch in the eye. So we have a young terrified beagle girl whos got eye issue, mastitis, a leg missing a paw. Lovely isnt it?? Her owner abandoned her with these problems without caring if she will die or not. To him was no good anyway so what if she dies from starvation or infection or get run over?
The poor girl is already at our vet and gets antibiotics for the injury on her leg. It will be a looong recovery for her and most probably the leg will be amputated. Of course she will need a foster home once shes out and we 're begging you to help with fostering her. Any donations towards her vet bill and operation will be very welcome. We were terrified today that the vet would tell us pay before bringing her cause we owe lots to him. We have revolut account, a bank account and paypal thats [email protected] and you can put a not for injured beagle. Please help, any amount is valuable to us. The poor girl will need at least €500 for her operation. Extra the meds, hospitalization, etc. We dont know what to do really but leaving her there wasn't an option.

Wilbur and Rupert, best buddies on their group walk this morning

Temperature = a lovely breezy 19 in the wood.

They were on squirrel watch, as the furry critters were very active today, so Ru had to stay on lead to avoid an unexpected adventure through the woods !!

We played lots of games with his tea, including a new game (for us) where I hid some food in a hand and he had to guess which one it was in and then lie down to indicate this ! He’s such a clever boy, right every time 🥰
