ACE UPDATE
We have made the decision to retire Ace from stud from end of Autumn 2026 (so not until next year)
Absolutely no reason other than Ace is 7 years old in July next year, he's worked his little socks off for us and deserved to retire a happy health dog.
If anyone has plans on using him for their litters up to then your still more than welcome to.
Contracts will be changes to not offer a 2nd mating if missed as he will be neutered in Oct 2026.
(He's only ever missed 3 in his whole life and this was from the female not coming to him in the correct ovulation period, all been in pup on the 2nd mating with correct progesterone testing)
For this reason I will request progesterone testing until Oct 2026. Unless a disclaimer is signed to say this was declined and your happy with one mating, his stud fee will not change, Ace is well proven with a regular sperms count and one of the most extensively health tests cocker stud dogs from the start of his career not just when more starting requesting the tests, I made sure he was as close to perfect as possible.
Ace has thrown the most amazing litters all over the UK and in Sweden and Finland, he has pups in the police force, fire service and HMRC Prisons.
Amazing pups in field and agility world all doing exceptionally well.
We are very proud of our boy and he will be very much happy being a spoilt pet from end of next year.
