Please read This is why I don’t do my babies anymore for felv
***FOR AWARENESS***
***IMPORTANT PLEASE READ***
We do not vaccinate against FELv. If your vet recommends your kitten has this, please wait until they are 1 years old and administer it with their booster.
Vets do not believe vaccines cause reactions in cats. We as breeders see this all to often. Symptoms can be any of
Limping
Lethargic
Unable to stand
Not eating and drinking
Diarrhoea
Vomiting
High temperature
Do not leave the vets without a course of anti-biotics and pain relief. If they refuse to give this, demand it. Your cat may not recover without this. Also ask your vet to report the vaccine batch number to the manufacturer.
Vets need educating on these reactions as we breeders see this all too often and it can be life threatening.
