⭐️Nebula Week 2⭐️

Long lining week, a huge week for this little mare. She’s lived a sheltered life in the same home from being a couple months old with her half sister. So leaving her sister and leaving the property is a big deal. But she took it like an absolute champ 🎉 and ended the week very confident ❤️

⭐️Nebula Week 1⭐️

Nebula was completely un-started so we spent time biting her and doing some line desensitisation which she took really well. We then moved onto the lunging which I wouldn’t say she took a dislike to, more like she has strong opinions 🤣 Once she understood what we were asking she took to it really well. We then on the last day did a little bit on long lining in the pen which she took better than the first lunge 🤣 Overall a good first week 🎉

Peggy update! She went home on Saturday and this is Sunday. Straight out for a hack not a care in the world. All the long lining and time spent making confident individuals means moments like this are not a big deal, leading the way on her first ever hack at home, easy peasy! 🎉🎉❤️

⭐️Peggy Week 6⭐️

This is owners week and you all know how much we love this week. Peggy’s owner came down on Thursday to have her first ever sit and what a special time it was! Peggy gave her a little bit of sass as that’s just Pegs and we love her for it 🤣 Peggy has now left us this weekend to start her ridden life ❤️ We absolutely adore our job being able to give these horses the best start and then keep in touch to see what they grow into ❤️ Here is a little clip of Thursday 🎉

🚨Splints!🚨

This dry weather is causing more than just hay shortages. Our fields resemble the Sahara desert whilst being as hard as concrete! Our young stock live out 24/7 and we cannot stop them from running and playing! Which is resulting in splints! This is a yearling with good conformation so nothing but the hard ground has caused this 🤦‍♀️ Unfortunately it’s one of those things, but when she comes up for sale it will be looked upon with scrutiny not the simple fact of when she was a yearling she ran around in a drought and did it to herself 🤦‍♀️🚨

⭐️Nacho Week 2⭐️

This is long lining week which Nacho took in his stride. We did lots of road work as well as going round our big field which he really enjoyed. Seen as he started long lining a few days early and because he was so good at it we decided Friday to get on board. Nacho has been sat on and lightly ridden before arrivind so we went quicker with the process that we usually would. We laid over, walked, sat on, walked and went out on the lunge all in one session. He was a star ⭐️

A quality event bred filly, also light enough in bone as a potential endurance prospect. Perfect conformation, moves straight, no lumps/bumps/sarcoids. She has a gorgeous nature, always comes over to say hello. Easy to deal with, up to date with everything. She is being broken at the moment, she has a month left that’s been paid for then will be ready to move to a new home. Her breaking journey is on our page. Based North Yorkshire.
