You may have noticed some newly planted trees are struggling in this current heat, with the little rainfall we've had not providing enough water for them.
We’re taking these actions to help during this very dry period:
🌳 All standard trees planted in the last 2 years are regularly watered
🌳 We’ve added water bags to some trees that have been in the ground for 3 years
🌳 Our contractor idverde is topping up water bags regularly
🌳 We've started watering small trees (whips) at Newbold – a new step we’ve taken due to the extreme dry conditions
If there’s a newly planted tree near your home (including highway trees) that looks like it's struggling, please consider giving them a water during dry spells. Thank you.
