Rehome this christmas !!

It’s been over a month since Lana came into our care, and not a single application has been received. 💔 It breaks our hearts, because this girl is aching for a home to call her own.

We worry that her unique appearance might be making people hesitate, but in our eyes, she is the most beautiful girl.

Her owner made a truly heartbreaking decision to surrender her when it became clear she wasn’t coping with the other pets in the home.

Lana is chatty, playful, and full of affection, and we can’t believe she hasn’t been scooped up yet.

We are in need of volunteer fosterers for our ever growing wait-list for Cats and Kittens in need. ❤
All you need to provide your foster cat with is a safe home and somewhere comfy to nap – we can help you with the rest! We’ll provide your foster cat’s food and any medication or veterinary care they need while they are with you. Of course, you’re more than welcome to spoil them with more toys. 😻

Ricky Gervais just turned his Christmas spirit into a $3.1 million lifeline for animals in need.

To celebrate his Mortality Tour, his Netflix special, his Golden Globes nomination and the holiday season, the British comedian announced on Facebook that he is donating £2.43 million (about 3.1 million dollars) to animal charities. He ended his post with Merry Xmas Critters, and people across the world immediately felt the love behind it.

Ricky has always been one of the loudest and most passionate voices for animals. He speaks out, he stands up and he never stays silent when animals are being mistreated. This donation shows once again that he means every word. He steps in and helps when it matters.

The money will support rescue groups, sanctuaries and organisations that protect animals from abuse, neglect and exploitation. For many of these groups, this kind of help arrives at the perfect moment and can change countless lives.

Ricky’s Christmas gift is a reminder of what compassion can look like when someone uses their success to spread kindness. And for thousands of animals, it will mean safety, care and a chance to finally feel loved.

Caring for a senior dog is one of the gentlest acts of love we ever get to give. As they age, they depend on us in new ways, and that shift often leads people to search for guidance on patience, comfort, and supporting an aging pet. Their loyalty never fades, and they deserve the same steady devotion in return.

There’s something incredibly meaningful about slowing down with them, adapting to their pace, and being present through every chapter. These moments highlight the deeper parts of companionship - compassion, commitment, and the quiet kind of love that grows stronger over time.

Growing old together is a privilege. And when we honor their needs with kindness, we show them that the bond they gave their whole life to is still safe, still respected, and still filled with love.
