It feels very odd today without the Stoneleigh Rally Show - the only time we’ve missed previously was for Covid.

To all our competitors and supporters - enjoy the sunshine, keep yourselves and your dogs cool and we hope to see you soon!

Please complete the following survey for the Rally Liaison Council:..
RLC Consultation on where to remove the lead for the Level 2 Bonuses

The Rally Liaison Council is grateful for the feedback received on the proposed new framework for Rally. Some items have been identified for possible implementation in 2027 which we will be opening a new consultation on soon.

In the meantime we have received a request from the community to add an option for where competitors remove their lead for the Level 2 bonuses. Sit Leave Dog - Call to Heel and Sit Leave Dog - Turn Recall Handler Finish.

Currently Level 2 competitors either remove their lead at Bonus Sign A (Sit Leave Dog) or drop their lead for the dog to drag - there are no plans to remove either of these options in 2027.

The suggestion is to add the option to remove the lead after the Finish but before going past the Bonus Start sign. This will become mandatory for all bonuses in Level 2 when the new framework is introduced (currently planned for 2028) - the question is whether you would like to option to remove your lead before attempting the bonus in 2027.

Huge Congratulations to our trainer Lisa and her dog Saffron. Lisa has had an amazing Crufts as her other dog Pigeon was in the Midlands team for the Inter-regional Rally on Thursday.

Congratulations to Lisa Sergiew and Saffron, the talented Shetland Sheepdog, who have won the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Special Pre-Beginner Obedience Stakes Grand Final this afternoon.

Lisa and Saffron were presented with their award by Sue Garner, alongside judge Rachel Armstrong, following their impressive performance in the final.

A fantastic achievement - well done to this brilliant partnership!
