Introduction video from our lovely Harry - not only is he a valuable member of the team, he has taken on board everything that I've thrown at him and absolutely thrived! On top of which he might be my new techno guy! He's brilliant at making videos, apps and other stuff an oldie like me doesn't get 😂 the dogs adore you Harry and you are impressing me every day! Keep up the good work!

Today I'd like to celebrate one of the sweetest souls in the Doggy Adventures family...
Our beautiful Wendy ❤️🐾

Wendy has been having a tough time medically recently.
It's never easy seeing one of our dogs go through challenges, especially when they're such a loved part of the pack.
But what I absolutely adore about Wendy is that no matter what she's facing, she still manages to bring so much joy to everyone around her ❤️
Whenever she's feeling well enough to join us on an adventure, it's impossible not to smile when you see her coming.
Those magnificent ears flopping towards us.
That huge cheesy grin.
And the look on her face that says:
"Right then, where are we off today?" 😂
Wendy is one of those dogs who simply loves people.
Not in a casual way.
In a full-body, whole-heart, "I think you're the best thing I've ever seen" kind of way ❤️
She's affectionate, gentle, loving and always ready to spread happiness wherever she goes.
And of course, we can't talk about Wendy without mentioning her boyfriend...
Bear 🐶❤️🐶
The two of them are absolutely adorable together and it's always lovely seeing them spend time side by side on their adventures.
One of the things I love most about this job is that we get to know these dogs so well.
Not just as dogs.
But as individuals.
And Wendy is one of those very special characters who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.
Wendy, we know things haven't been easy recently.
But we want you to know how much you're loved by all of us.
We love your enthusiasm. We love your cuddles. We love your giant ears. We love your smile. And we love the happiness you bring to every adventure you're part of.

Today I'd like to celebrate someone very special...
Our wonderful Rex ❤️🐾
One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Doggy Adventures isn't just taking dogs on adventures.
It's watching them grow.
Watching them become more confident. More relaxed. More comfortable in the world.
And Rex has come such a long way.
When he first joined us, things felt very different.
Rex was understandably nervous and unsure.
Collection time wasn't exactly his favourite part of the day 😅
He would bark at us. Keep his distance. And make it very clear that he wasn't entirely convinced about these strange Doggy Adventures people turning up at his house!
And honestly?
That's okay.
Trust takes time.
Especially for sensitive dogs.
We never expect confidence overnight.
Instead, we focus on building relationships, creating positive experiences and allowing dogs to progress at their own pace ❤️
Little by little, Rex started to realise something important:
The adventures were actually pretty fun.
The people weren't so scary.
And the dogs?
Well, they were pretty awesome too
Over time we've carefully integrated Rex into his pack, helping him build friendships and confidence in a way that felt safe and positive for him.
And now?
He's thriving.
He heads off on adventures with his friends. Explores with confidence. Enjoys being part of the group.
And my favourite part?
These days we even get a little goodbye kiss
For a dog who once wanted nothing to do with us, that means more than I can explain.
Rex, we are all so proud of you.
Thank you for being brave. Thank you for trusting us. And thank you for reminding us why we love this job so much.
Progress isn't always loud.
Sometimes it's simply a dog who once ran away from you choosing to come over and give you a kiss goodbye

I'd love to introduce the third member of our wonderful Doggy Adventures team — Harry ❤️🐾

One of the greatest privileges of running a business is watching people grow.
Not just professionally, but personally too. And over the time Harry has been with us, I've seen a remarkable transformation.

I'm sure he won't mind me saying this, but I genuinely believe this job has brought out a happier version of him. A more confident version. A more fulfilled version. And honestly, it's been lovely to witness.

Harry joined Doggy Adventures after deciding to leave a career in plumbing behind.
A brave decision, especially when you're stepping into something completely different.
But sometimes life has a funny way of leading us exactly where we're meant to be.

Harry says:
"Growing up in a house full of pets, I've always had a deep love for animals. I initially pursued a career in construction, but after a few years in plumbing, I realized my true calling lay elsewhere. In 2026, I made the leap to dog walking with Doggy Adventures, and it's been the best decision I've ever made."
And honestly?
I think the dogs would agree ❤️
Because one thing that stands out about Harry is how wholeheartedly he has embraced this job.
He doesn't just walk dogs.
He invests in them.
He learns about them. He builds relationships with them. He celebrates their progress. He makes it his mission to ensure their day is exciting, enriching and fun.
You can see how much he genuinely cares.

Harry goes on to say:
"There is nothing better than spending my days outdoors, building a bond with the dogs, and getting to know all their unique personalities. It truly is a dream come true."
And that's exactly why he's such a valuable part of Doggy Adventures.

They're family members. And Harry treats them that way every single day

As a business owner, you always hope you'll find people who share your values and your passion.
I genuinely feel blessed that I have.

I'd love to introduce another fantastic member of the Doggy Adventures team — Elspeth ❤️🐾

When you're building a team, there are certain qualities you simply can't teach.
Enthusiasm. Kindness. Genuine care. A love of learning.
And from the moment Elspeth joined us, she's brought all of those things in abundance.
As many of you know, I'm incredibly passionate about maintaining high standards at Doggy Adventures. We don't just want people who love dogs (although that's obviously important! 😂).
We want people who are committed to:

🐾 Professionalism
🐾 Safety
🐾 Understanding behaviour
🐾 Helping dogs thrive
And Elspeth has embraced all of that wholeheartedly.

What I love most is the genuine joy she brings to the job. She recently summed it up perfectly:
"I can't imagine another workplace where I'd be so happy to be greeted each day by huge bear hugs, big sloppy kisses and, of course, ferociously wagging tails! I've always wanted to work with animals, especially dogs, and walking with Doggy Adventures just so happened to cross my path exactly when I needed it."

And honestly, I think the dogs know just how much she loves being around them ❤️

She goes on to say:
"I adore getting to know each of the dogs' unique and wonderful personalities and taking them out to explore our lovely local area. Watching them make new friends, experience different terrain and grow in confidence week on week is an absolute pleasure."

That last part is exactly what Doggy Adventures is all about.
It's not just exercise.
It's confidence building. It's socialisation. It's enrichment. It's helping dogs become the very best version of themselves.
And Elspeth has been playing a huge part in that.

I've loved watching her build relationships with the dogs, grow in confidence herself and throw herself into learning everything she can.
The dogs absolutely adore her, and I'm genuinely thrilled to have her as part of the team ❤️
