The peace in Benidorm is now just a distant memory! We had our ears blown out by the gang, who were super excited to sing their 'Welcome back' song to us on a Monday morning! 😬 I suppose I should try and show my appreciation since its so well rehearsed! I've missed you, you pack of muppets 🤣🙈🤪

Lets talk about willys! 💄🤣

In all seriousness, this issue here is called paraphimosis and it happens when a dogs p***s comes completely out and the dog can not retract it back into the protective sheath.

It can be worrying to see and should be dealt with promptly to avoid the tissue from drying out, further swelling occuring and causing loss of blood which can lead to permanent damage.

Most of the time, a dog has no issue in popping his little friend back in, but should he have difficulty, then you can help by simply applying a cold compress to the area, along with a sugar paste (water & sugar mix) which will reduce swelling and draw out fluid to the affected area. Once swelling has reduced, you can apply Vaseline to help it slide back in.
** Also check for any hair that might have tangled in longer coated breeds.

Remember this area is sensitive and if your not comfortable in assisting then receive veterinary support.

This is the unfortunate joy of summer!

Most people say to us on a sunny day, "Oh I'd love to have your job!!!" NO! No you absolutely wouldn't when it's weather like this.....

The stress is unbelievable when trying to plan the day/week to make sure you can still try and get out for walks, whilst keeping everyone safe, monitoring dogs like an over protective mother of a newborn, hunting out areas with water and trees for shade.

But sometimes even that's not good enough and we lose the race against the heat of the sun. That's where the decision has to come in to take the financial hit!
I suppose its the crap side of being self employed 🙄
We appreciate your understanding on having to cancel walks when it's weather like this and we ONLY do it to keep the dogs safe.

For me, I say ROLL ON WINTER!!!!!
