A fabulous first winner for Sleedagh and Heather Burnside at Newcastle Racecourse yesterday. Leading over what is an inadequate trip for the stayer, Sleedagh jumped well and stayed back on when momentarily headed. He should continue to improve from this.

In the same race Rocheval delighted us, jumping really well on his first outing for some months to be a close up third. Roch has been diagnosed with kissing spines but with rehabilitation and lots of work on the water treadmill he is moving really well and looks to be able to reward Susie Russell's patience.

Hunters Spring ran a great race to be fourth, she is a super consistent filly who deserves to win again.,

Sold
ROR candidate who could event, team chase or turn his hoof to anything.

Bois Guilbert is just seven years old, sound, sane and a kind and gentle horse to deal with. The winner of five of his twenty races he has lost his desire to be competitive and his lovely owners have decided to let him excel in another sport.

Sound and good moving he jumps well and is great in traffic, and sane cantering round the fields. He has been sold to an experienced long term home.

It is sad that Aintree is cancelled today due to the storms, but we have had an excellent weekend up to now.

Three winners at Kelso Racecourse and two super runs at Cheltenham Racecourse are credit to the hard work put in by our team and the quality of horses that we have bought. Those marked with ● were purchased by us.

Kelso Saturday
1st Jessemarvel ridden by Gregor for Jo Bilsland and Russell ●
2nd Eazy Breezy, Patrick for Friends Across The Water ●
1st Myretown, back to top form for Patrick, Carron and Bruce Wymer and Russell ●
1st Let's Mingle, Gregor riding a double, for the Tay Valley Chasers racing club (membership places available)●
2nd Smoke Trail on his chase debut under Patrick for the Caledonian Club Racing Society. ●
3rd From The Clouds for Alex and Lynsey Maclaren.
3rd Malayalam for Two Black Labs and a Fox Red ●
4th Garde De Champs for The Champs

Meanwhile at Cheltenham on Friday
2nd Traprain Law ridden by Lucas Murphy for Ray Green

And at Cheltenham on Saturday
3rd Derryhassen Paddy under Derek for Morrison Bell and Russell ●

We have run some exciting horses who have their owners dreaming.

We are proud of all of our runners and especially those who we have sourced ourselves. Paul McIvor is already looking through the catalogues to highlight more to add to our team. Please contact us if you would like to be part of our next shopping spree.
