🐾 No-Shows 🐾

I’m writing this not as a business, but as a person who pours my time, energy, and heart into every single dog that comes through my door.

When you book an appointment, that time is dedicated solely to your dog. I turn away other clients, I set up for the groom, and I organise my entire day around that slot. When someone simply doesn’t show up—without a message, without a call—I’m left with an empty space I can’t fill, lost income, and wasted time that I genuinely could have spent caring for another dog.

❌Would you ever walk into a shop, take something, and walk out without paying?
Most people would be horrified at the thought.
But a no-show has the same effect on a small business like mine. It leaves me standing there, ready to work, ready to care for your dog, with nothing to show for that hour or more of time put aside.

This isn’t just a job to me. This is my livelihood. This is how I pay my bills, keep the lights on, purchase the best products, maintain equipment, and continue offering a safe and loving environment for your furry friends. When appointments are missed, especially without notice, it genuinely hurts.

I completely understand that life happens. Emergencies come up, plans change, and sometimes things are out of your control. All I ever ask is that you let me know. A quick message / call is all it takes. I’m the most reasonable person and I’m always happy to reschedule your appointments, and in those cases the no-show fee is waived.

Going forward (as per my policy already in place)
📌 Missed appointments will be charged a 50% of the groom total no-show fee.
This policy isn’t about punishment or me being harsh—it’s about keeping my little buisness the best it can be. It’s about respecting my time, care, and commitment that goes into every groom.

Thank you so much to the many clients who always show up, who let me know when something changes, and who support my small business with kindness and respect. You truly have no idea how much it means to me and on some days how hard it can be running a small business all by myself🤍🐶✂️

👉🏼On a more pleasant note - Christmas starts here on the 1st December and I cannot wait!🎄
January is almost fully booked, I have limited appointments free - so if you know your furry friend is due a groom in January / February please get them booked in to secure your best day and time🫧

✨ Little Update ✨

I’m out of the salon for a short break, but I’ll be back on Monday to start the festive Christmas grooms!
Christmas will officially begin on the 1st of December, there will be a treat for every pup🎄🐾

📣 I am currently fully booked for November & December. January appointments are already filling up fast, with very limited spaces available in the first two weeks.
If you know your furry friend will be due a groom in January, please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

I cannot wait to make your dogs look their very best for Christmas! But first I cannot wait for a super long weekend off🥰
