I was candling this peafowl egg almost two weeks ago when it slipped from my grip. It was badly cracked on one side, and for a second, it was hovering over the bin… but something told me to give it a chance.

Today a happy healthy peachick hatched! 🥰

This was definitely an extreme case, but it’s a reminder that small cracks don’t always mean an egg is a lost cause. If you find one before incubation, don’t be afraid to carefully seal it and give it a chance!
