Do you know a veterinary nurse (or veterinary nursing team) who has made a lasting difference? Throughout May, for , BVNA will be inviting veterinary clients and colleagues to shine a light on the registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) and student veterinary nurses (SVNs) who give so much of themselves, often behind the scenes and without recognition.

Perhaps you know a veterinary nurse who has:
✅ Sat with you when your animal was unwell or at the end of their life
✅ Offered kindness, patience, or reassurance when emotions ran high
✅ Treated your pet with dignity, gentleness, and genuine love
✅ Supported you in ways you’ll never forget, even if you never had the words at the time

Nominations are invited from:
✅ Clients, whose lives and animals have been touched by compassionate veterinary nursing care
✅ Colleagues, who witness daily the emotional labour, professionalism, and dedication that often goes unseen

Simply complete a short nomination form highlighting how a veterinary nurse has supported you, your animal, or your workplace. One winner and runner-up will be selected from both individual and team entries, winning a prize worth up to £250!

We are closed on Monday 4th May 😁 Please order all repeat prescriptions 24 hours in advance and collect them before Monday including food. We will be back open on Tuesday

The Wesley Twins aka Fred & George were in yesterday getting neutered and OH MY GOSH they were absolutely adorable!!! So so well behaved and took the procedure like champs 🥰🥰 They even had plenty of love after the procedure 💙💙

The Easter bunny left a wee box of goodies for the staff this morning 🐰 Quickly tucked into them at tea break 🍫 🥰

We will be closed on Easter Monday 🐇 Please ensure all food and medications are picked up before Monday. As usual we have a vet on call only for emergencies otherwise we are open as normal on Tuesday.
Don’t forget to keep that chocolate out of reach of your dogs 🐕

We obviously aren’t biased but we do have the best team 🥰🥰 Thanks to our photographer Liam who was camera shy but we do appreciate all our staff and they deserve everything . We had a little tea time treat with some chocolate cake and a delicious pavlova made by our own Leanne! And some goodie bags

The handsome Chopin was in yesterday to get some treatment done for a sore ear by our new vet Jamie. Judging by that smile he was feeling much better . His tail never stopped wagging 🥰 Let’s get some love for Mr Chopin on Valentine’s Day ❤️
