Dog Days

Dog Days At Dog Days we have two secure dog fields for you to hire for your own use. Bailey Field - a 3 acre level field. Queg Field - a 1.5 acre field with some slopes.

Both have tunnels, weaves and jumps for the dogs and a shelter and picnic area for you to enjoy!

Keeping Dog Days looking tidy 🌿☀️
There’s always something to be doing behind the scenes here — hedge trimming, mowing, fixing fences, clearing paths… the glamorous side of running dog fields 😅
As a family business, we do everything ourselves, so if you see us out and about with rakes, strimmers or covered in grass cuttings, that’s just a normal day here.
We genuinely love keeping the fields looking nice for everyone (and for the dogs, obviously 🐶).
Today’s job: hedge cutting for Paul, quality control for Lynn 😄❤️

Looks like we’re in for a bit of a heatwave this Bank Holiday weekend ☀️🐾

We still have a few slots available over the weekend, and we’ve opened up some later 8pm sessions for anyone wanting a cooler evening walk.

If you’ve already booked and would prefer to move your slot to an earlier or later time, just send us a message and we’ll do our best to sort something out.

Please take care of yourselves and your dogs in the heat — plenty of water, lots of shade, and maybe leave the midday zoomies for another day 😅🐶

These three trees were all kindly given to us by customers after they outgrew their gardens 🌳🐾

We gave them a second home here on the fields, and it’s lovely to see them all doing so well and becoming part of the space.

We’ll always happily take more if anyone has trees needing a new home 🌱

Flik also insisted on showing everyone her football… which has definitely seen better days ⚽😅🐶

It’s been great to see lots of new people and their dogs using our fields lately, so we thought it was time to properly reintroduce ourselves 👋🐾

We’re the family behind Dog Days — Lynn and Paul, along with Oliver (the son, who’s slowly taking over bit by bit 😅). We live on site, so there’s always at least one of us around if you need anything.

We know visiting somewhere new can feel a little daunting for some dogs (and owners!), so we always come down to meet new customers, explain the rules, and show you how everything works on your first visit.

Thanks so much for all the support — it’s lovely seeing so many dogs enjoying the fields.

We’ve been a bit quiet on here… 👀🐾

Oliver’s been off travelling, so things have been a little quieter on social media lately.
Lynn and Paul (and of course Flik 🐶) have been holding down the fort — with Flik personally overseeing everything (mainly from a comfortable spot in the sun).

Behind the scenes we’ve been busy as ever, and we’re now getting stuck into lots of plans and jobs around the fields as we head into summer ☀️🌱

Hi, Flik here 🐶👋

The fields might still look very wintery, but the humans have already started on the Spring jobs.

Today’s task was giving the tyre tops a bit of an update. My role was to stand very still, look important, and supervise closely (someone has to).

Lots more plans are in the works as we head towards Spring — I’ll make sure they stay on schedule. 🐾

✔️ Peace of mind for you as well as your dog
✔️Helps build your confidence in having your dog off lead

Secure fields are a training tool.
They allow dogs to learn calmly, safely, and at the right pace… which is how good training actually happens.

If you’ve got a dog that’s too fast, too distracted, too worried, or just not ready for open spaces yet, this is often the missing piece.
