Day in the life of a dog breeder actively selling a litter of pups....

Message from potential buyer - "could I have pictures of the boy and its pedigree?"

Me - no problem, here's a video and its kc pedigree

Buyer - thanks but im not ready for a puppy .......

I have had probably in the region of 50 enquiries for my 9 pups. My advert is detailed and I always respond quickly.

Its exhausting and bewildering why people waste time doing this. Im super busy looking after pups and my adult dogs as well as trying to keep buyers updated and sorting paperwork for pups leaving this week.

Im more than happy to chat to people and for them to get to know me as a breeder etc , if they are trying to decide if its the right time , right pup or if im the right breeder to get their pup from but less than a minute after enquiring and only 2 short messages saying they aren't actually wanting a puppy is 🤬🤯

Got my kennel name certificate today 🥰🙌 So all my Kennel Club registered dogs will now have Garrowood in their names.

Just back from Seafield Vet Group, getting the pups their 1st vaccine and a health check. All pups passed with flying colours. Including Bill. So he is now on the hunt for his special family. He will be here till 10 weeks at least. He is silver merle tri with 2 blue eyes. Was the runt and needed bottle fed for a while at the start. He is a special little boy and needs a special family.

Boxes all packed ready for the wee pups to start going to their new families from Sunday. Health check and 1st vaccine tomorrow. Wee Bill will be staying with us a little while longer, once he is older and all cleared by vet he will be searching for his new family. 🫶🥰
