Here's a general guide:

Every 4–6 weeks: Poodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus, Bichons & other curly coated & long haired breeds

Every 6–8 weeks: Spaniels, Border Collies, Schnauzers, Westies

Every 8–12 weeks: Labradors, Boxers, Frenchies & other short coated breeds

Every dog is different! Their coat type, lifestyle, length and how much brushing they get at home can all affect how often they need grooming. 🐩✂️

My Approach to One-to-One Grooming?

For me, grooming has never been about getting through as many dogs as possible.

It's about creating an experience where your dog feels safe, respected, and genuinely cared for.

Every dog that walks through my door gets my full attention from the moment they arrive until they head home. No rotating between multiple dogs. No long waits. No unnecessary stress.

Some dogs need extra reassurance, some need breaks, and some just need someone who understands them—and that's exactly what I aim to provide.

A calm environment doesn't just make grooming more enjoyable; it helps build trust and creates a positive experience that lasts well beyond one appointment 💖🐾✂️
