Two years ago yesterday, we created our page and took the very first step on our Highland Dog Deli journey 🐶❤️

Me and Kane were on holiday in Turkey when we placed our very first order of natural treats ☀️🇹🇷

Back then, we started with just 8 different treats. Fast forward two years, and we now stock a huge range of natural treats for your beautiful dogs, along with so many other amazing products 🐾✨

Over the last two years, we’ve met so many wonderful people and made countless furry friends along the way ❤️

From the very beginning, our goal has always been simple: to provide the very best for your dogs. That’s why we only stock natural treats, beautiful handmade accessories made right here in Scotland, and products from other fantastic small businesses that we love supporting 🐶✨

We’ve attended some incredible shows, shared so many special moments with you all, and opened our very own shop, something that still feels surreal to say! ❤️

As many of you know, we’re currently busy moving things around in the shop and working on exciting new plans. There have been some amazing days, and there have definitely been some challenging ones too. Running a small business isn’t always easy, but I genuinely love every part of it. No matter how hard it gets, I’m excited to keep growing, keep meeting more of you and your wonderful dogs, and keep finding the very best treats and products to bring to The Highland Dog Deli 🐾

✅ Two more steps completed in our shop move around! ✨

Last night, we removed the fireplace, covered up the hole, and put up new grid walls 😄 This is going to give us so much more space to hang all of your dogs’ favourite treats! 🐶🐾

We’re just waiting on a few more bits to arrive so we can get this wall finished properly ✨

A huge, huge thank you to Kane’s brother and his friend for removing our double sink unit and fitting our new sink on Friday ❤️

We’re now waiting to see if we can get a few extra plumbing bits sorted so we can move everything exactly where we need it. Once that’s done, we can finally get fully moved around and get those freezers in! 🤞🏻✨

I already have the raw food sitting in my basket ready to order, and I’m SO excited to finally get it all in 😄🐾

Another massive thank you to all of our family and friends who have helped us throughout this whole process, we truly appreciate it!❤️

If we don’t laugh, we cry😆

Last night we were an hour away from home when the wheels on our trailer decided that they actually didn’t want to be attached anymore😭😂

Luckily we pulled over when we noticed something wasn’t right and slowly tried to drive to Lomondgate services, going around the round about the wheels bounced out from under the trailer and let’s just say we had an eventful night. This happened at 2am (I drove back late as I knew there would be less traffic on the road driving a long distance with a trailer for the first time), so we didn’t get much sleep in the car… Kanes amazing friend Antony rescued us this morning and we couldn’t be more grateful! They are getting it all fixed up for this week and we will be ready for the summer!

The main thing is we are all safe, Hugo had his comfy bed, food and water in the car as we had everything with us🥰

On a brighter note you have all spoilt your dogs this weekend!! Thank you all so, so much!! It’s been super busy!❤️

I will be back in the shop tomorrow! We will see how tomorrow is going but might close at 4pm to get the shop moved around✨

Sorry for our silence on social media recently, we have had a lot going on behind the scenes and trying to keep on top of everything can become a little challenging at times. ✨Another update✨

Things are finally starting to fall into place❤️ We apologise it has taken a little longer than we expected! I was hoping this would have been done at the start of the month but good things take time😆

Our tow bar is fitted to our car🥳 yesterday me and Kane travelled down to England to celebrate my lovely friends wedding and at the same time we will be bringing up our new trailer✨

Monday we will have to close for a few hours while we rip out the double sink, put in our smaller new one and move everything around. We are also going to be putting in the freezers and ordering the raw food but this might not arrive until Wednesday✨

Our branded gazebo is currently getting printed and will be on its way to us very soon!🐶

We can’t wait to get all of this done and for you all to see what we’ve been planning for so long❤️

Your support means the world and we wouldn’t have done any of this without all of you! I know we say this all the time but it still doesn’t feel real that two years ago we started off by selling 6/7 natural treats and now look at us🥹
