Elsie the gorgeous nine-year-old Bichon cross Poodle.
Her foster carers describe her as having, โ€œA quiet, gentle, nature.โ€

๐Ÿพ Elsie is affectionate, she loves a fuss and a snuggle and sleeps on the bed with her foster carer. Her favourite treats are high value โ€“ chicken, fish or cheese. She knows a few tricks including a sit, paw, wait, and she does a little dance.

๐Ÿพ Elsie enjoys playing with toys, a game of ball, a play with some squeaky toys, or carrying around a soft toy. Elsie loves to go for walks and happily does a couple of thirty-minute walks twice a day with her foster carer. She is a keen walker, and walks quite fast on her lead. She enjoys a variety of locations full of different scents, and she does not mind meeting and greeting other dogs if they are calm and not boisterous.

Poppy and Penny are enjoying a gentle early morning stroll by the stream.

Their humans are staying hydrated, got their sunscreen on, hats, and sunglasses. Letโ€™s look after ourselves and of course we know youโ€™re on it with keeping dogโ€™s cool! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿถ

๐Ÿถ How about some cooler alternatives:
If dogโ€™s enjoy water; paddling pool fun! ๐Ÿ’ฆ
Time to learn a new trick with positive reward training.
Scent games, teach a โ€˜find itโ€™ โ€“ Motivated by treats or toys โ€“ Have a tressure hunt around the home and garden.

๐Ÿถ Know the signs of heat stroke and remember flat-faced breeds, unwell, overweight, and senior dogs are at an increased risk.

Murphy is a four-year-old Cocker Spaniel looking for a loving home. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿพ Murphy is super sweet! He likes soft toys, and heโ€™s ball mad. He will drop a ball right at your feet ready for a game of fetch. Heโ€™s a bright lad! He enjoys playing scent games - finding hidden treats like a treasure hunt and doing puzzle toys like a stuffed Kong.

๐Ÿพ Murphy is affectionate, and builds strong bonds, in the evenings he adores snuggling up to you on the sofa. Murphy likes any treats on offer; he knows a sit, paw, wait, and stay. He will happily walk for miles, and please bear in mind when applying that he is strong on his lead. His favourite places to walks are beaches or trails, and he is happy to meet and greet other dogs along the way.

๐Ÿพ Murphy specifically resource-guards socks and items should never be taken off him. Management can be in place so he doesnโ€™t have to come across any socks, and if he does, we can give you guidance and training so you are confident should this arise. Murphy finds towel drying stressful and will need a calm, gentle approach to this. Murphy thrives with a routine and in the right environment and understanding he will flourish.

Luna is a three-year-old Poodle cross looking for a loving home. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿพ Beautiful Luna can be shy at first and the best way to get to know her is either join her on a walk or get a ball ready and have a game of fetch. Luna loves to play with toys, and her favourite is a ball.

๐Ÿพ Once she is well bonded, she is very affectionate and adores a snuggle, and to cosy up with you on the sofa. Due to a negative incident a couple of years ago, Luna may feel the need to โ€˜look afterโ€™ the humans she is close to and bark at visitors to the home. A quiet home life would be ideal, and we can guide and advise you with โ€˜a visitors to the homeโ€™ training plan.

๐Ÿพ She loves her walks on the beach, she likes to play in water, she has good recall and is social with other dogs. Luna would benefit from learning new tricks to help boost her confidence. She loves treats and treats help her to feel more confident when visiting the vet.

๐Ÿ’› Head on over to our website to find out more about Luna, add her to your 'favourites', discover how rehoming works, and apply to adopt a dog.
