Apologies for being so quiet on our socials. This summer has been our busiest yet and we’ve been non stop! All whilst keeping children entertained too. A few of you may have met my daughter Bonnie who loves helping in the salon!

September is looking to be just as busy. I would encourage everyone to book their next groom in advance to secure your preferred slot.

An advance notice that the salon will be closed from 25th July and reopen on 3rd august, as I’m away on a family holiday.

We are very busy before I go but doing our best to fit everyone in.
If you’re needing an appointment we have a couple left on 22nd, 23rd & 24th of July. Please message soon as these are filling fast.

Thanks, Amber 🐾🩵

A huge congratulations to our amazing Jade on passing her dog grooming apprenticeship with a distinction!!
You’ve worked so hard for this over the last year and I couldn’t be more proud!

You will now see Jade taking on a larger role in the salon and grooming solo more often.

Well done Jade!!! 🩵🐾

☀️ Weather Update ☀️

Our air con is coping brilliantly at keeping the salon cool so we are remaining open.
Please don’t walk your dogs to us in this heat & if you’d like to reschedule your appointment please just let us know.

Thanks, Amber & Jade 🩵🐾

Sorry for being so quiet on here recently. We’ve been so busy I haven’t found the time to post.

💛 Nervous or wriggly dogs welcome 🐶

Not every dog loves grooming and that’s okay.

We work at your dog’s pace, keeping things calm, gentle, and positive to help build confidence over time.

🐾 No rushing
🐾 Lots of patience
🐾 A stress-free experience

Every dog deserves to feel safe and comfortable 🩵🐾

How to know your dog is due a groom 🐶

Not sure if it’s time? Here are a few signs to look out for 👇

🪢 Knots or matting starting to form
👀 Hair covering eyes
🐾 Slippery paws or long nails
👃 That “doggy” smell creeping back
🧸 Coat losing its shape

✨ Regular grooming keeps your dog comfortable, healthy, and looking their best.

If you’re noticing any of these… it might be time to get them booked in 🐾

🪮 Why we don’t brush wet coats 🐶

Brushing wet fur can actually do more harm than good 👇
💧 It stretches and damages the coat
🪢 Can make knots tighter
❌ Uncomfortable for your dog

We always dry the coat first to keep it healthy and tangle-free 🩵🐾

Does your dog have a slightly “yeasty” or musty smell?

It’s not always just a dirty coat, it can often be coming from their ears.

👂 What to check:
• A strong, bread-like or cheesy smell
• Redness or swelling inside the ear
• Dark wax or discharge
• Your dog scratching, head shaking, or seeming uncomfortable

These can all be signs of a yeast build-up or ear infection, which is really common especially in breeds with floppy or hairy ears.

Regular grooming helps keep ears clean and allows us to spot early signs before they become more serious. 🩵🐾
