Hot weather might mean a change of plans 🔥

If your dog’s walk, daycare, or grooming appointment is cancelled because of the heat, please know it’s done with care.

It's really hard for dogs in hot weather especially flat-faced breeds, older dogs, or those with health conditions.

These changes are made to help keep your dog comfortable and well.

Meet Teddy & Toffee, both Shorkies (Shih Tzu + Yorkshire Terrier)
Both Teddy & Toffee had some anxiety about the grooming process where I quickly determined what these were & adapted the process to the best of my ability to help relieve those anxieties and make their grooming experience a more positive one.

Teddy eventually came around and enjoyed the treats, along with the snuffle mat & Toffee very much enjoyed a ball and squeaky toy.
They both have areas that need to be gradually worked on but they both did very well for their first visit with me. 🫶

So Charlie came in today for his first ever full groom. He is a Long haired/ rough coated Jack Russell/ Dachshund cross and a very sweet boy. He tolerated the groom pretty well with the help of lots of fuss and yummy treats. The licki and snuffle mat worked well for keeping Charlie focused and distracted for certain areas while ensuring his anxiety was kept low.
Well done Charlie 🥰🐾🐾
