Fully insured, patient, and happy to handle everything from energetic puppies to slow-and-steady seniors. Medication? No problem. Extra care? Sorted.

Buster! His walks have been hit and miss due to the weather but happy to finally be getting him back out while his owners are on holiday!

And Zeus! What a happy boy he is! 💕

Hi all!
All dog walks today have been cancelled!!
If you have me booked in it’ll be rearranged or turned into a pop in as the weather is already at 22° and it’s 7:30.

If I’m walking your dog while your out the country please contact me and we can come to some agreement on when they are walked today, but unfortunately it’s too unsafe for our furry friends to be taking them out today!

🐾 When is it too hot to walk your dog? ☀️🐶

As the temperature rises, it’s so important to remember that the ground can get much hotter than the air. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

🌡️ A good rule of thumb:
- 20°C+: Caution — especially for older dogs, puppies, and flat-faced breeds
- 24°C+: Risky — keep walks short and in shaded areas
- 28°C+: Too hot — avoid walking altogether

Dogs can’t cool down the way we do, and heatstroke can happen quickly. Always watch for signs like excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy.

At Nose to Tail Pet Services, your pet’s safety always comes first 💛
If it’s too hot to safely walk your dog, we’ll never take the risk. If it is over 24° walks will not go ahead as I am not insured over 25° heat.

Instead, we’ll offer a Pet Pop-In 🏡🐾
This includes:
✔️ Letting your dog out for a toilet break
✔️ Fresh water top-up
✔️ Playtime and enrichment indoors
✔️ Plenty of fuss and attention

Keeping your dog happy and safe is our top priority — whatever the weather ☀️❄️
