Not one to shy away from a bit of rain.. however.. we were about 10 minutes into a walk yesterday when we heard a rumble of thunder.. quickly decided to change route plan and headed downhill.. another rumble or two and then along came the wet stuff.. and it meant business, so we hot footed it back to the van till this passed... glad we did! 👌🌦😅

Whilst you've all been basking in hot sunshine, we nipped to Scotland for a camping weekend to bag a few more Munros in somewhat less than scorching weather ❄️😄 another 5 mountains in the bag for our Sid.. taking his total so far to 97! Hoping our little chief can make the 100 before he retires from being a Munro bagger 🤞😍⛰️

Today, was all about the VIP seniors and retirees.❣️🐾
Sadly as the years go by, some VIPs have to retire from walks due to age related issues.💔
We've known many of them for well over 10 years and had many happy walks together. ❣️🐾
Occasionally, we still see them , they see the VIP van and their eyes light up, we stop for cuddles and fuss, and then have to be on our way..❣️
So this morning, we loaded the doggy ramp into the van and headed off for a special doggy park morning for the retirees and seniors. 🥰
And how absolutely lovely it was. ❤️🐾❤️

'Digby, the biggest dog in the world.' 🎞
My absolute favourite film as a child, in fact I still have my very own Digby dog! He's been with me for about 45 years or so, he's a little worse for wear, a bit scraggy, a floppy neck and only one eye .. the other eye was removed by my border collie pup, around 44 years ago 😅 .
This pic of the mighty Sam today, just reminds me of Digby and my childhood 😍🐕 always been dog mad obviously...
