🌿🐾 POLITE REMINDERS 🌿🐾

We have had a few new clients lately and its also good to keep general reminders circulating for all clients. The tips below help us to keep things running smoothly. Thank you for your co-operation ❤️

🌿 A reminder that pick up times are usually anywhere within an hour window - you will know the usual collection time, but sometimes these can be a little earlier/later depending on traffic and dogs booked in - please be mindful of this

🐾 Swift collections help us to run smoothly, where possible please have your dog ready to go with their walking attire on so we can slip the lead on and off we go

🌿 We love to chit chat - but we do also have dogs in the vehicles, dogs waiting for collection and schedules to stick to - especially when we are using a secure field. Please don’t be offended if we say we have to dash 🏃‍♀️💨

🐾 Payments are weekly or monthly for the services you have had that week or month - thank you for always paying on time

🌿 To ensure a range of enriching walks, we often go to water spots and many walks are rugged and therefore boggy. Dogs will be cleaned down as best as possible, but an extra towel ready for us when dropping off is always helpful

🐾 Please give as much notice as possible for holidays/reasons for dogs not requiring walks - the more notice the better so we can fill spaces with dogs who need extra walks

🌿 We will always report back on behaviours, please don’t be offended if we need to update you on your dogs behaviour - we want the best outcome for everybody, including your dog

🌿🐾 NEW TO THE CREW 🌿🐾

Its been a minute!! But we have a newbie 😍 Meet Ralph! A 10m old cockapoo.

You may recognise Ralph from our groom room as he’s been coming in for desensitisation sessions to get him more comfortable with the grooming process.

We are hoping that joining us for walks will all contribute to strengthening his bond with a new person, and also with becoming more neutral around other dogs.

I knew the Wednesday gang wouldn’t let me down in calmly welcoming Ralph. He slotted straight in as if he was always meant to be here 🥰

A huge thank you to all of our clients recognising that we made the right call today!

We would never ever compromise the dogs safety - even though it is our days income gone. We really appreciate the messages of understanding and we are glad you know that your dogs are all in safe hands with us, no matter what.

Cooler tomorrow - so currently walks are looking okay!

This weather really hits our industry hard.

Over the last few days, many of us in the dog industry have had to make the decision to cancel classes, workshops, walks, training sessions, daycare activities and events.

As small businesses, every cancellation has an impact. We lose income, spend hours rearranging schedules, and often absorb costs that can’t be recovered.

But dog welfare will always come first.

No class, walk, workshop or training session is worth putting a dog at risk. When temperatures soar, our responsibility is to keep dogs safe, even when it’s the harder business decision.

So today, I’d love to shine a light on the amazing small businesses who are also putting welfare first. If you know a dog trainer, walker, daycare, groomer, physio, hydrotherapist, pet sitter or any other pet professional who has been affected by the heat, tag them below and give them a follow.

Supporting small businesses costs nothing, but it can make a huge difference.
