☀️☀️ HOT WEATHER POLICY ☀️☀️
As we are in the run up to another heatwave this week our hot weather policy is in place.
As we know the weather forecasts can take us by surprise so each working day will be evaluated THE NIGHT BEFORE and no sooner. This is to help things run as smoothly as possible without unnecessary changes or cancellations.
WALKS: Where possible walks will be moved earlier, and where this isn’t feasible an alternative such as a home visit will always be offered if it becomes to hot.
For walks that do take place whilst it’s still safe we will be visiting shaded areas and water spots 💦
DOG GROOMS : the groom room becomes too hot during heatwaves. Whilst we have an air cooler that is useful on warm days, it does nothing when it’s 28+ degrees outside (something we are taking into account for next year). Please be mindful that your appointment may need to be re-arranged.
Please remember, any cancelled walks or grooms are a loss of income for us, we do not make these decisions lightly, but at the end of the day the dogs welfare is paramount and we will not take risks when it comes to their well-being.
