Re sharing my holiday dates for this year, as I have now added our time off at the end of June.

I try to limit my time off as much as possible, so that I can be reliable for all of my regular clients :-)

The house was far too quiet without the squeeks from guinea pigs every time the fridge door opened....
Today we welcomed Uno and Clark, from Furry Potatoes Guinea Pig Rescue. They have settled in amazingly so far ❤️🐾🐾

We had a bit of a sad Christmas pet wise, unfortunately we lost Babybel from complications of urinary stones on the 20th December, then yesterday I took Edam in to be neutered, so that we could get him bonded with a new guinea pig, but unfortunately he didn't recover from the anaesthetic properly :-(

I'm having a bit of a break from getting any new pets, as I'm really struggling to find vets that I can 100% trust.

If any of my guinea pig owners would like some science selective guinea pig food, I have a fairly large bag left over xx

Do you want those long nails trimmed down, to avoid the big scratches whilst giving your furry friends cuddles?

I can come to your home and nail clip Cats, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs for as little as £5 per pet (fuel costs are added if you are outside of Horley).

Also if anyone with male guinea pigs would like help with "Boar cleaning", I can provide this for £10 per guinea pig (Boar cleaning is the removal of any gunk, hay, food etc. that has got stuck in their pouch by their male parts).
(Fuel costs apply if outside of Horley).

A little refresh of my pet first aid knowledge ❤️🐾

It's difficult finding first aid courses that cover multiple species, rather than just dogs. This course had a few bits aimed towards cats and smaller animals 🐾🐾🐾🐾

This week we said "au revoir" to some of our VIP cats, who usually wouldn't appear on social media due to their breeds. But as they are now moving to France, their owner has kindly said I could post some pics of them ❤️

Boudi is no longer with us unfortunately, but since approximately 2013, we have looked after Izzy (Bengal), Boudi & Trevor (Savannah).

With a range of pet care visits and overnight stays provided, I also was on standby for if the house alarm went off, and I have done a few vet trips as well.

These kitty cats had a special diet of raw food consisting of Purrform, quail and chicks. Medication was given at times when the cats required it as well.
The owners usually keep an eye on them via various pet cameras, so if the cats had knocked them, the owners would let me know and I would move them back to face the correct directions :-)

I try to avoid "favourite" animals, but Trevor was definitely Ruby's favourite, with her regularly hunting for the cat brushes so she could give him a brush ❤️

We wish Izzy, Trevor and their owners all the best for their move to France 🇫🇷 ❤️🐈🐈🐾🐾 xx

If any one is looking for a decent vet, who doesn't charge really high prices- I've recently discovered Uncle Alex in Forest Row.

He is really good, confident handling all the animals, and his prices are really affordable.
(£14.40 for Rocket to have his teeth trimmed, and for Edam and Babybel to have a health check, with Edam having his fatty eye checked as well - I paid him a bit extra as it was so low priced).

It's a bit of a drive from Horley, but 100% worth it :-) x
