We when you have to go away and leave your furry friends you want to know that they are enjoying 5🌟 service and a home from home environment. We are a licensed home boarding business for dogs. Your pet will come to us with their food, bed and favourite toys to enjoy great walks, long naps and lots of cuddles, plus the fun of being with other dogs. Not only do we want your pets to have a great tim

e with us, so they can't wait join us again, but we want you to relax and enjoy your time away, or your busy day without worrying about your dog. All sounds great, but what about the practical stuff:

1. I am licensed by North Herts DC NHANI/6015 and their animal welfare team are happy to give me their highest 5🌟 rating https://onlinepp.north-herts.gov.uk/registers/index.html?fa=licence_register

2. I hold insurance which covers us during your pet's stay with us for: boarding, walking and transportation.

3. I am a fully qualified Canine First Aider L2, which means while I'm a 'first responder', I also know when to refer to your vet, should your dog get ill. We offer a very personalised service. So before your dog visits us for the first time, I'll meet you with my own dogs, for a walk. This is to check that the dogs get on and so that I can start to learn about you and your pets. Depending on your dog's temperament I may suggest we start with a half day or full day before we consider an overnight. This works really well for younger dogs and particularly those who might be a bit nervous. For more confident dogs they may not need this and be happy to just check in with their food and bed, knowing they will have great fun. Hopefully that gives you some information about our services. I'm feeling privileged... I'm currently working on a project with a small group of amazing women who share my love for 🐶🐶

We're doing a deep dive into dogs who struggle with Impulse Control and considering how Freework can help dogs who don't seem to be able to find their 'off switch'.

Perhaps there are signs that you recognise in your own dog?

🐾 they struggle to 'switch off'
🐾 they are sensitive to small things - eg a car door slamming in the street
🐾 they appear to not 👂- truth is that they can't as they're too distracted.

These dogs are simply overwhelmed.

Freework helps self-regulation and encourages relaxation, so nothing seems like such a big deal anymore!
