☀️ EXTREME HEAT PROTOCOLS ☀️

With temperatures forecast to rise next week, dog safety has to come first.

Once temperatures reach unsafe levels for walking (around 23°C+ depending on age and breed), we will be switching to our Extreme Heat Protocols to help keep all dogs safe and comfortable.

🐾 All group field trips will be cancelled
🐾 Walks will be reduced to a maximum of 30 minutes
🐾 Some dogs may receive garden visits/toilet breaks instead of full walks
🐾 This allows us to safely accommodate everyone during the hot weather

If any clients are happy for their dogs to have EARLIER walks, please get in touch ASAP as this will really help us manage the schedule safely.

If your dog has any frozen treats, enrichment toys, cooling mats, or anything you’d like us to give during visits, please let us know too! 🧊🐶

A client sent me this really sweet video of their dog last week and I have been meaning to share it with you.

The video shows Lexi laying in her bed while a family member speaks the names of her dog friends, and mummy and daddy before saying my name.... watch for the reaction!

Lexi doesn't make friends easily and was a little nervous when we started working together at a recall workshop. Through that session Lexi seemed to become comfortable with me amd her owner asked about her joining some social group sessions. Over the last year, Lexi has learnt to really trust me and now bounds innthe van, not once looking back at her owners (sorry about that 😬).
