Thank you very much to all our lovely rehomers today!

Together we rehomed 317 hens and one cockerel. It was a great day, we collected the girls from a farm in Staffordshire, dropping to Middlesbrough and Ashington collection points on our way home 🐓

Hexham Fresh Start For Hens Collection Point is opening on Sunday 17th May!

We are helping to find homes for 1800 ex free range girls🐓

Homes now found- thank you so much to everyone who shared❤️

Three cockerels have been dumped in our local area🐓We went on a rescue mission last night after the rehome and all three are now safe.
However, we are unable to keep them (they are currently in our hospital coop as it the only space we have).
If you can offer one of these beautiful boys a home please message the page asap! (Can go together or separately)

Thank you so much to all our lovely rehomers today. We saved 215 hens, 2 cockerels and 12 ducks!
Thanks also to our fantastic volunteers who gave up their Saturday to chase escapees around the garden! 🦆🐓

Hedwig🐓

Hedwig is now looking for a new home! Hegwig has been in our hospital coop since the 3rd of January rehome with a broken leg/ leg injury from the caged farm.

She was very underweight and bald when she came to us however is now thriving and whilst she may always have a limp, her leg is fixed.

We are looking for a gentle home that can very slowly introduce her to their flock (which ideally would be quite a calm group as she is quite skittish!). We don’t like rehoming lone hens so she would buddy up with another hen at this weekends rehome🐓

We would love to keep her, but unfortunately we wouldn’t have to space for other poorly hens.
A donation of £2.75 will be required per hen and pictures of your set up. We would always have her (and her friend) back if it didn’t work out.
