We offer tuition for beginners all the way through to the more advanced rider. Group or private lessons are available (waiting list currently closed). We can help you learn in a professional yet friendly and fun atmosphere. Here at Petasfield Riding School we also provide the chance to learn horse care through being a Pony Club Centre and also offering BHS care stages training

Day 1 (Part 2)| Pony Club Summer Camp
It was Circus Day today and we definitely made the most of this theme! Amazing creativity in the grooming, our circus ponies were ready for the riding action of drill riding with no hands! Some fun without stirrups too saw some superb riding. Big well done to all. The afternoon action was circus skills and vaulting - first on barrels and then onto trying some things out on the horses! Shadow, Zack and Duke were total legends letting everyone stand up and backflip off them. Brilliant start to the week. 🎪🤹‍♂️🎠

Day 1 (Part 1)| Pony Club Summer Camp
It was Circus Day today and we definitely made the most of this theme! Amazing creativity in the grooming, our circus ponies were ready for the riding action of drill riding with no hands! Not long til the summer holidays now - we have the following spaces left on our summer events:

Thanks to our lovely Niina the horses have a water buffet today to encourage them to drink and hydrate in this hot weather.
Orange = turmeric and cinnamon
Light blue = apple juice
Big blue = salt
Big black = redbush tea
Little black = bicarbonate of soda
Light green = pony nuts
Red = apple likit
Dark green = camomile

They have carrot ice cubes coming this evening from Scarlet and Cecily!

Day 3 | Easter Pony Club Camp - final day! Last day as always is Games day. We had so much fun in mounted games with both Ted and Buzz taking it far too seriously and resembled rockets! 🚀 The afternoon was the Easter Egg hunt. There was a huge amount riding on who would find the golden egg which gave a high number of points. Group 1 were leading for the first two days but Group 3 had pulled it back and taken the lead after the mounted games!
Final standings were:

2nd place - Group 1
3rd place - Group 2

Day 2| Easter Pony Club Camp - A very hot one! Easter bunny jumping was the theme for riding and grooming! Some excellent lines and rounds seen.
Our activity was to make your own browband, of course directed by our creative lead Niina 😂. They looked amazing!
We finished the day doing ‘floor is lava’ SJ edition! Great fun as always.

Day 1 | Easter Pony Club Camp - off to a great start today. Easter challenge riding testing their balance and skills with no hands, one handed and standing in their stirrups. Well ridden by all. 🥰
Our activity was to enter the wider Pony Club Art competition, everyone put in lots of effort and the big reveal will happen tomorrow!
A big clear up in the copse this afternoon finished our day.
Star of the day was Olivia with her beyond rapid round the world! 🌍😮👏
