Pawsome Paddles is located on a pet friendly farm set in the tranquil Hertfordshire countryside, conveniently located just outside the market town of Hertford. Whether your dog requires hydrotherapy for health reasons or you want to bring them along for fitness and fun, we hope you and your dog will find your visit to Pawsome Paddles a therapeutic and enjoyable one. Today was the last Saturday we’re open and again said goodbye to some wonderful clients. Leuna (pictured) was in for her last session this morning and has had the most number of sessions with us!

We were going to post this yesterday but didn’t feel April Fools’ Day would be the best day for it…

Sadly, Pawsome Paddles will be permanently closing our doors at the end of April. The financial burden of running the centre has just become too much. We can honestly say our time at Pawsome Paddles has been amazing and something that we’ll both always be proud of and have thoroughly enjoyed. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be able to help so many dogs lead a better quality of life. Over our nearly 10yrs we have probably had over 2000 dogs through our doors and we feel fortunate to have met every single one. We’ve also met some incredible people, some of which we are now lucky enough to call friends but it’s been a delight to meet you all. We’re going to miss you all, 4 and 2 legged clients alike!

So what’s the next chapter?… I (Kim) am off to work in an amazing local veterinary practice and very much looking forward to joining a fantastic team and continue to play a part in looking after your wonderful pets. Kathryn on the other hand has some very exciting news and is expecting her first baby at the start of September.

What I (Kim) personally want to add though, is that working with Kathryn has been an absolute dream! She has so many qualities both professionally and more importantly personally, as a friend. She’s helped me through some very difficult times and welcomed me in as part of her family. She’s genuinely one of the best friends I’ve ever had and will remain so always.

Finally, we wanted to say a huge ‘THANK YOU!’ Without you, none of this would have been possible. From entrusting us with your dogs, to just liking a post on our social media, you have helped us succeed and we will forever be grateful.
