Such a dreamy start to the week! The weather was perfect, the dogs were perfect and the location, perfect too.
So thankful for the cooler weather and being able to have a long country walk and some ball play too (sorry Chip we borrowed your ball 🙈)

Double celebration walks today in honour of Freddie and Dori birthdays
They are both so loved by the whole pack and of course me thank you for the puppy party rings which went down a treat with all the doggies.

What a hot Wednesday - walked half hour in Pancake Woods, everyone was getting hot and bothered so back to the car, air con on full and a walk around The Ruby Club and a lovely cold dip in the river. One more day to go of this heatwave. Morning pick-ups from 7am tomorrow ☺️

Weather like this is a dog walker's nightmare. We can't take the dogs out for their usual walks as it is way too hot and dangerous. Most of my doggies' humans were working from home. Ziggy managed an early morning walk, water play and a snooze by the fan and the two Springers have a river at the end of their garden! You couldn't have a better location for them so it was water play the Springer way
Hottest day of the year ✔️ normal business resumes tomorrow

Dogs safety in the sun ☀️
We all love a sunny bank hols but unlike humans dogs cannot regulate their body temperatures as effectively and can easily overheat.
The pack's safety always comes first so I may have to take walks earlier, make them shorter in shaded woodland and/or locations where there is fresh water to cool off.
