Introducing a brand new team to Trail Hunt International on a Sunday morning- is there anything better?

JUNE SESSIONS

Small update: I've been asked to reschedule jury service SO it turns out my June is free!

Trail Hunt International SESSIONS

Thursday 11th June-
Clock Face Country Park! An ideal location for training on all types of surfaces and terrains. We've got gravel & tarmac. We've got grass. We've got mud. We've even got pine needles. Time to get serious about those surfaces.
6.30-8.00pm!

Tuesday 23rd June-
Lyme & Wood Country Park! This gigantic venue will be the chosen location for a good old fashioned drive-building session. If your dog is lacking in clarity or enthusiasm for the trail (or even you, the handler!) then come along to this club session. Your dog will leave with a renewed sense of excitement for Trail Hunt.
6.30-8.00pm!

If you're coming back to Trail Hunt after a break, feel free to book onto the session and drop me a line! We will run a few refresher trails before the class starts 💛

DISC DETECTION SESSION

Saturday 20th June

This is a fantastic opportunity to get in a full day of detection. The venue: Centre Park in Warrington. This place boasts a brilliant array of obstacles and hide setups. No matter if you're a beginner, more advanced, or if you want to try your hand at some harder setups- this will be an absolutely fab session to attend.

We've got a range of terrains; water, urban, forest elements, riparian areas, hard surface.
PLUS... a Starbucks on site! Any dog and handler team is welcome, even if you've never tried Disc Detection before. If your dog is started on clove and has a basic TFR then you are welcome to book on!

11am-2pm (although this may run for longer depending on number of teams)

Last week was our Trail Hunt International Foundations graduation!

Two fantastic dogs with their own distinct trailing style. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how these guys have progressed throughout the month!

They have gone from strength to strength thanks to the work their dedicated handlers have put in.

I love it when owners tell me they’ve been doing pieces of the training at home in between sessions because it really does show up in the class! They were faced with a real challenge in the final week which both teams tackled head-on. Superb trailing from you guys! I sense there is nothing but success in your future 😎 treats all round guys!

We’re halfway through our Spring Trail Hunt International foundations and I have to make a little appreciation post for these two epic pups.

They have both taken to scent activities so naturally, and it’s genuinely lovely to watch them figure out each challenge we give them every week.

Each session has presented a totally different picture for them. Their confidence has grown along with their understanding for the game. They’re learning how to problem-solve, how to trust their nose, how to work through moments of uncertainty, and how to commit to the task when things get tough.

I am unbelievably pleased with their progress so far, and a mega shout-out to their handlers who have put the work in between sessions to solidify the skills they’ve learned during class!

These two are ones to watch, guys 😉 well done to Team Munchie and Team Rory!

Openings for OUR Trail Hunt International foundations course are live!

Come join us and discover this amazing sport 🥰

TWO courses are available!

Thursday evening course @ 6.30pm
Sunday morning course @10.30am
HELD AT SIDING LANE, RAINFORD, WA11 7SR

💛In this sport your dog will learn to search and track a scent trail through the environment. We will start small and work our way up to longer trails both rural and urban! Harness your dog’s natural ability and give them a job that fulfills their natural instincts. The foundations course comes with a starter kit so you can trail on your own outside of sessions!
