Did you know it's a legal requirement for your dog to be microchipped and to wear an ID tag on it's collar or harness?

Please please please ensure your dogs microchip is up to date with your contact details and your dog has an ID tag on with your contact details.

Dogs get lost all the time and would be reunited so much faster if only people just did this one simple task 🙈.

Another lost dog has been very luckily reunited this morning but only thanks to one incredible local dog walker/pet sitter going above and beyond and more today, and our fabulous community of dog businesses helping each other out by sharing all over Facebook. JL Walks and Pet Sitting you are absolutely amazing 👏 Well done you!!

Remember... vets will NOT take a lost/found dog in.

If the dog warden is unavailable (as happened today) what happens to your dog?

I know several wonderful people who take lost dogs in but they are bursting at the seams and unable to take any in.

Please don't put it off... get the chip checked and updated if needed 🐾 and order a tag or embroidered collar with your contact details today... not tomorrow..

Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on revamping our dog section, we’ve finally got to the stage where we were ready to paint as soon as a kennel became free… well now is our chance!! But we’ve hit a stumbling block… we need kitchen or bathroom paint to withstand the winter water shake-offs from the dogs and we don’t have any hardwearing paint left! If anyone could drop in any spare kitchen or bathroom paint (& any spare rollers) before Sunday we’d be eternally grateful 🙏🏻

Just found out this morning about the dog who unfortunately passed away from heat stroke outside Lidl Bohemia Rd yesterday. My heart breaks for that poor dog. This is why dog walkers cancel walks in heat like yesterday, it's seriously dangerous for your dog and we care too much about your dogs to risk them like that. Please don't take risks with your dogs in heat like yesterday, your dogs will be fine missing a walk or two.
