This gorgeous little lady certainly knows how to lap up being pampered! 🥰🛁✂️

Beautiful Mabel was back in the salon for her groom, and she was such a little sweetheart. Just look at that face! 😍

Poodle crosses have gorgeous coats, but they can be very prone to matting, especially around the ears, legs, armpits, collar/harness areas and underneath the body. Regular grooming alongside good brushing at home is so important to keep their coat comfortable, healthy and knot-free. 🐶✨

Keeping to a regular grooming schedule also means we can maintain the style you love without having to take the coat shorter because of matting. 💗

💕🐾 DOLLY & HONEY – DESHED DAY! 🐾💕

Our gorgeous regular girls, Dolly & Honey, were back in the salon today for their regular groom — and we honestly couldn’t believe how much undercoat came out of these two! 😱😂

Dogs with a double coat naturally shed their soft undercoat, and sometimes all that loose, dead hair needs a helping hand to come away properly.

We use specialist de-shedding shampoos, along with our de-shedding mud mask treatment, to help loosen and release that packed undercoat. This is followed by a thorough blow-dry with our high-velocity dryer and plenty of brushing with specialist de-shedding tools. 🛁💨🪮

Removing excess undercoat helps the skin breathe, keeps the coat healthier and can make your dog much more comfortable — especially during the warmer months. ☀️🐶

Dolly & Honey definitely left the salon feeling a LOT lighter today! 😂💕 Just look at all that fluff!

🐾 Meet the very handsome Max! 🐾

Isn’t he just the most photogenic boy? 📸✨ Max is an absolute dream to groom—so well behaved, so relaxed, and always a pleasure to have in the salon. Dogs like him really do make our job easy!

As many of you know, Spaniels are active, adventurous dogs who love nothing more than running through fields, woods, and muddy puddles! 🌿🐾 Because of their busy lifestyles, many Spaniel owners choose to keep their coats shorter. A practical shave down helps reduce tangles, keeps burrs and grass seeds at bay, makes them easier to keep clean, and helps them stay comfortable—especially during the warmer months.

Max left looking smart, feeling fresh, and ready for his next adventure! ❤️

🐾 A very warm welcome to this beautiful little Australian Labradoodle puppy! 🐾

Today was her very first puppy groom with us, and she was an absolute superstar! 🌟

Her owner has done an amazing job keeping her coat mat-free so far, which makes such a difference and gives us the perfect foundation for future grooms. 👏💕

During her visit, we introduced her to all the sights, sounds and sensations of the grooming salon in a calm, positive way. Her puppy groom included a gentle bath, blow dry, face tidy, hygiene tidy, paw pad trim and lots of praise and reassurance.

I also spent some time showing her owner the best way to brush a doodle coat. Remember, don’t just brush over the top! Hold the coat back and brush in layers, working right from the roots to the ends. This helps prevent hidden mats forming close to the skin.

We also talked about ways to prepare puppies at home for future grooming, including:
🐾 Gently handling their paws
💕 Holding their chin for a few seconds at a time
🍖 Rewarding them with treats and praise

These little exercises help your puppy build confidence and make regular grooming a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience as they grow.

She’s made a fantastic start, and we can’t wait to welcome her back when she’s ready for her first big girl groom! ✂️💗

🐾 Another lovely visit from Luna! 🐾

It seems Luna is one of the most popular dog names around… and it’s easy to see why! 💕 In fact, I love the name so much that I have my very own Luna at home – she’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 🐶❤️

This gorgeous Luna the Spaniel came in for her regular groom and Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning today. Keeping on top of regular grooming helps maintain a healthy coat, keeps matting at bay, and means every visit is a calm, enjoyable experience. ✂️🛁

Her Emmi-Pet teeth clean helps reduce plaque, freshen her breath, and keep those pearly whites in great condition too. 🦷✨

As always, Luna was an absolute star and left looking, feeling, and smelling amazing. We can’t wait to see her again for her next pamper!
