Clip and Snip Clip And Snip is a professional grooming parlour based in Hardwicke, Gloucestershire who gladly cate Day time, evening and weekend appointments available

Most breeds and crossbreeds are welcome, with the exception of giant breeds. Dogs with special requirements can be catered for, as well as nervous or aggressive dogs.

Due to yet another person arriving over 20 minutes late for their dogs today, I have decided from now I will be implementing a fee for late collections. People will be notified of this prior to their appointment.

Many other groomers do this and speaking to a few it seems to work well. I do not always feel respected and often not even an apology is given.

I have children and a busy life away from work and often have my own appointments booked or things i need to get done before school.

The fee will be £5 for being 15 minutes late or more late.

Please do not book dogs in if you have places to be whilst they are in my care. I have no objection if I am asked (not told!!) at time of booking or prior to the day of appointment.

If anyone needs to rearrange due to having booked with other commitments please do get in touch and I will happily reschedule.

I hope everyone will be understanding. I was hoping to avoid having to do this, but unfortunately I now have no option.

May I please ask that dogs are collected at the allocated time.

I am getting more people saying as they drop dogs off that they are unable to collect dogs at the given time due to work, shopping, meetings, going to visit people, drs appointment, dentist etc, which leaves me waiting around.

I sometimes have dogs which I have to groom alone for various reasons and need earlier dogs to have left or it may be the last dog of the day and I need to do things before getting my children.

I am always happy to provide a rough pick up time prior to the appointment to help with plans.

I always give grace of 10 minutes and do appreciate life happens with traffic etc but making deliberate plans when the dog is in my care is causing me issues.
