We did it 🏔️🏔️🏔️🥳!

Legs are sore, broken and exhausted but what an amazing experience! Full of events, laughter, stories and magical memories!

I totally underestimated how hard it would be! 11 people in our group 3 did not quite complete it (it was tough)! Myself and the amazzzing Catherine Lorne were the only ladies who did! The organisers said and I quote " you guys were the fastest group this year so far" !

Please donate to such a worthy cause we honestly pushed ourselves to our limits!

This week in walks and not just dog walks!!

This week has been a little shorter than normal not only have the kids finished school but I took a day off to have a long weekend. Crazily not for a touch of R & R but to climb the 3 peaks because I just love walking 😜😜!

Ben Nevis in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏔️ the tallest mountain ( Munroe) in the UK, Scarfel Pyke in north of England 🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Snowdon in Wales 🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and all in 24hrs ( as long as nothing goes wrong) ! All raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer!

No dogs on these hikes but if do it again I will be definitely taking the Bean Bag 🐕 and the boys 🧒🏼🧒🏻! Wish me and my bestie Catherine Lorne the best of luck and no injuries as I'm back walking on Monday 🤯!

We’re taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this weekend – climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon 🏔️

It’s part of a year-long series of challenges my best friend is doing for Target Ovarian Cancer – a charity that means a lot to both of us having friends who have been affected or who have lost their battle 💜

We’re aiming to raise £1,000 by 10am Sunday, when we (hopefully!) finish the final peak – and we’re already so close!

To smash our target would make walking in the icy rain 🌧️ and predicted low temp of 4 degrees and a high of 11 would make it all worth it! ( Hard to believe seeing that we are in July)

If you can spare a few pounds to support us and this amazing cause, we would be so grateful 🙏

Let’s smash it 💥

Well I'm onto it this week posting on a Friday what the.... 🫨!

A fabulous week walking the weather has been sensational, a little cooler than last week, but still sticking to those shady 🌳🌳areas where it is nice and cool!!

Welcoming 👋 new dogs to our crew Echo the gorgeous black lab with the longest tongue I have ever seen! Fraioch and Rowan HPR (Hunt Point and Retrieve) Weimaraners with absolutely stunningly hypnotic eyes!

Kate has been busy walking the beautiful Coco, Oscar, Bryn, Pickles and Bandit and Vicky has come to the rescue again this week so no one is left disappointed that they couldn't come out for a pawsome Wolfe Walk!

Keep cool 😎 everyone and look after your pooches choose your walks wisely and remember if it's too hot don't walk your dog, they can skip a walk or two ! 🥵

A wonderful walk this week for WolfeWalks as a youngen next week I'm walking into it officially middle aged!

Running my own business wasn't exactly what I thought I'd be doing when I was younger but my word I love it!

I love building a business that is mine where I'm appreciated by the two and four legged beings, where I'm always greeted with a smile and a waggy tail regardless of anyone's mood!

Feeling appreciated and loved is the best feeling ever and although it can be hard at times and I'm never able to switch off the rewards are immense!

Feeling extremely grateful for the love and support! And with that here are some pics from a wonderful week!

Its lovely when you get testimonials like this:

We got married at Ufton Court a couple of weeks ago (02nd November). With Ufton being a dog friendly venue, we knew that we wanted to have our boy included in the day (he’s part of the family after all!!) We struggled to make this happen for a while, not really getting anywhere with people we had contacted, and then we met Anna (Wolfe Weddings) at a fair at Ufton about a year before our day! She was so friendly and helpful from that first discussion at the Ufton fair, to the phone call meeting to discuss what we needed on the day, and the meet we had with her the week before the wedding so she could meet Sox! The meet itself was brilliant and we could tell then how good Anna would be with Sox on the day, as she really wanted to listen and understand everything about him and how he reacts to people and other dogs, observe him and treat and reward him as well. On the actual day, we had no idea what Sox would be like, as he’d never experienced anything like it before, and they’d be everyone looking at him at the church when he walked down the aisle, but Anna was brilliant from the off, as was Sox. She was always on hand to take him away to burn off some energy if needed, but also never too far away so he could be handed back for photos when we wanted! How she interacted with him and got him to focus on the photographer for the photos was also brilliant and all our immediate family and a lot of other guests were so impressed with how she handled Sox, and how well Sox was behaved which is the highest compliment we can give to how Anna handled him. Knowing she was with him in our hotel after he needed to leave Ufton when the wedding breakfast happened was a fantastic stress relief, as was knowing she was just around to help whenever was needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you Anna for everything you did!! Sox definitely liked having his new friend, and if anyone wants their dog with them on their day at Ufton or other venues we would recommend Anna 100%

Another wonderful week! The sun☀️ has been shining the bluebells🪻 are out in force and all is good in the world 🌎!!

It is the Easter holiday 🐰🐥so many of my regulars are not in need of walking, this means a nice relaxing week of smaller groups.

Hope you all are enjoying this fabulous weather for those of you in the UK it has been amazing dog walking weather not too hot 🥵, not too cold 🥶, no grass seeds or ticks (yet), mud (well not much Stan and Wilbur managed to find some) , and everyone's mood has been lifted with the immense amount of Vit D that we are lapping up 😎! Have a super weekend one and all and enjoy the WolfeWalks pics 🐶🥰

I am a 21st century dog….
-I'm a Malinois.
Overskilled among dogs, I excel in all disciplines and I'm always ready to work: I NEED to work.
But nowadays I get asked to chill on the couch all day everyday.

-I am an Akita Inu.
My ancestors were selected for fighting bears.
Today I get asked to be tolerant and I get scolded for my reactivity when another approaches me.

-I am a Beagle.
When I chase my prey, I raise my voice so the hunters could follow.
Today they put an electric collar on me to shut up, and you make me come back to you - no running - with a snap of your fingers.

-I am a Yorkshire Terrier.
I was a terrifying rat hunter in English mines.
Today they think I can't use my legs and they always hold me in their arms.

-I'm a Labrador Retriever.
My vision of happiness is a dive into a pond to bring back the duck he shot to my master.
Today you forget I'm a walking, running, swimming dog; as a result I'm fat, made to stay indoors, and to babysit.

-I am a Jack Russell.
I can take on a fox, a mean badger, and a rat bigger than me in his den.
Today I get scolded for my character and high energy, and forced to turn into a quiet living room dog.

-I am a Siberian Husky.
Experienced the great, wide open spaces of Northern Europe, where I could drag sleds for long distances at impressive speeds.
Today I only have the walls of the house or small garden as a horizon, and the holes I dig in the ground just to release energy and frustration, trying to stay sane.

-I am a border collie
I was made to work hours a day in partnershipwith my master, and I am an unmistakable artist of working with the herd.
Today they are mad at me because, for lack of sheep, I try to check bikes, cars, children in the house and everything in motion.
I am ...
I am a 21st century dog.

I'm pretty, I'm alert, I'm obedient, I stay in a bag...but I'm also an individual who, from centuries of training, needs to express my instincts, and I am *not* suited for the sedentary life you'd want me to lead.

Spending eight hours a day alone in the house or in the garden - with no work and no one to play or run with, seeing you for a short time in the evening when you get home, and only getting a small toilet walk will make me deeply unhappy.

I'll express it by barking all day, turning your yard into a minefield, doing my needs indoors, being unmanageable the rare times I'll find myself outside, and sometimes spending my days sunk, sad, lonely, and depressed, on my pillow.

You may think that I should be happy to be able to enjoy all this comfort while you go to work, but actually I’ll be exhausted and frustrated, because this is absolutely NOT what I'm meant to do, or what I need to be doing.
If you love me, if you've always dreamed of me, if my beautiful blue eyes or my athletic look make you want me, but you can't give me a real dog's life, a life that's really worth living according to my breed, and if you can't offer me the job that my genes are asking, DO NOT buy or adopt me!

If you like the way I look but aren't willing to accept my temperament, gifts, and traits derived from long genetic selection, and you think you can change them with only your good will, then DO NOT BUY OR ADOPT ME.

I’m a dog from the 21st century, yes, but deep inside me, the one who fought, the one who hunted, the one who pulled sleds, the one who guided and protected a herd still lives within.

So think **very** carefully before you choose your dog. And think about getting two, rather than one, so I won't be so very lonely waiting for you all day. Eight or ten hours is just a workday to you, but it's an eternity for me to be alone.
