A sad week this week.
One of our clients purchased a puppy via an advert on Gumtree. The puppy very quickly became unwell and was unfortunately diagnosed with parvovirus. Despite all our and the owners efforts, the puppy died.
Heartache for the owner, and for all our staff. The puppy seller walks away with money in his pocket and no consequences. He wouldnt care even if he could be reached (funnily enough he isn't answering his phone)
Please be careful when buying puppies and kittens. Beware of sellers on Gumtree, ALWAYS see mum with the pups. If there are red flags, walk away and contact SSPCA. We need to stop these people (and I use the word loosely!) profiting from animal cruelty
