Lisbeth Nursing Home

Lisbeth Nursing Home We offer short and long term services including Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care. Every day should be meaningful, different and have purpose.

We understand that moving into a Care Home is a big step, which is why we feel it is important to involve family members as much as possible. We offer “Supported Admissions” for our new residents. This is where a friend or family member can stay at our home on the day of admission with their family member to help them settle in and enjoy their first meal together and get to know our wonderful staf

I want to tailor every aspect of our residents’ care to their specific needs, wishes and individual personality. Each of my residents will be treated with respect and shown love as if their were a personal family member. Today felt like the perfect start to our Christmas preparations.
We began the morning with our residents’ meeting something I always look forward to. Our residents shared such lovely ideas and comments, and it’s always a joy hearing their perspectives.

After the meeting, Brian helped set up a beautiful display on the wall. And honestly, he took his role very seriously guiding relatives away from the area and making sure no one saw it until the final reveal. He kept it all secure like a proper Christmas bodyguard 🤣.

In the afternoon, we celebrated World Hello Day. We traced our hands and wrote “hello” in different languages. It turned into a bright, colourful activity that everyone enjoyed, and it brought such a fun, warm atmosphere to the home.

If you know someone who would be a great fit, please share!
We’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and hardworking who doesn’t mind 24-hour shifts and weekend work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in keeping spaces clean, and wants to be part of a supportive team in a lovely nursing home environment.
If this sounds like someone you know, please tag them or pass this on we’d really appreciate it! ❤️

We would like to take this moment to recognise Sana for the truly exceptional work she has been doing with our residents. Over the past few weeks, we have received a wonderful amount of positive feedback from families, expressing how much their loved ones enjoy the activities she plans and how engaged and uplifted they feel because of her efforts.

Sana brings a warm, caring energy into every room she enters. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with each resident as an individual make a real difference to daily life in our home. Whether it’s organising group activities, offering one-to-one moments, or simply brightening someone’s day with a smile, she always goes above and beyond.

Her colleagues have also shared how much they appreciate her teamwork, positivity, and the support she brings to the staff team. It’s clear that Sana’s presence benefits not only our residents but the whole home.

We are incredibly proud to have Sana as part of our team. Thank you, Sana, for your dedication, compassion, and the joy you bring to both residents and staff. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do. 💛👏

(Also she's Camera Shy 🤣)

A very Well done to Alistair, our student nurse who joined us on his journey into the nursing profession. During his time with us, he showed dedication, kindness, and a genuine willingness to learn. He shared with us that he has learned a lot while being here, and it has been wonderful to see his confidence and skills grow day by day.

As he moves forward to begin his nursing career, we are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved. We have no doubt that he will make a compassionate and capable nurse, and any team will be lucky to have him. Thank you, Alistair, for your hard work, your positivity, and the respect you showed to both staff and residents.

We wish you every success in this next chapter may your career be filled with learning, growth, and many meaningful moments.

Pudsey Day at Lisbeth Nursing Home! 💛🐻
Today we celebrated Pudsey Day (14th November) and we also wish His Majesty the King a very Happy birthday from all of us at Lisbeth nursing Home! 👑💙

Our morning was full of fun with Pudsey-themed karaoke, colourful wordsearches, and creative face mask making. The residents absolutely loved it and the laughter filled the whole home! 🎤🎨🐻

In the afternoon, we set up a lovely Pudsey tea party with plenty of cakes and cupcakes such a sweet treat and a perfect way to end the day. 🧁☕

A huge thank you to everyone who donated towards Pudsey Day. Your kindness truly goes a long way and makes days like this even more special. 💛

A full day of laughter, joy, and Pudsey fun! 🐻✨
