Lisbeth Nursing Home We offer short and long term services including Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care. Every day should be meaningful, different and have purpose.

We understand that moving into a Care Home is a big step, which is why we feel it is important to involve family members as much as possible. We offer “Supported Admissions” for our new residents. This is where a friend or family member can stay at our home on the day of admission with their family member to help them settle in and enjoy their first meal together and get to know our wonderful staf

f. I am Andrea Walker, the Home Manager. I am a qualified Nurse and have been working in care for 30 years. I want to tailor every aspect of our residents’ care to their specific needs, wishes and individual personality. Each of my residents will be treated with respect and shown love as if their were a personal family member. Every member of my team is skilled, patient, compassionate and always willing to go above and beyond simply to re-assure and make our residents happy.

📚✨ Today was filled with fun and smiles! Pauline chose Oliver Twist during library time, our residents enjoyed a lively game of bean bag toss 🎯, and Margaret brightened the day by singing “You Are My Sunshine” from her bedroom 🎶🌞. A wonderful mix of stories, laughter, and music! 💛

The fete is up and ready to go with sweet treats and lot of tombola prizes to be won! 🥳

Margaret sang the sweetest song today 💕 Then she made me laugh by saying I ought to be on television! 😂 She’s even suggested we go on Britain’s Got Talent together… I think she might be onto something! 🎤✨

🌞 What a Day at Lisbeth nursing home 🌞Today was packed with fun, laughter, and plenty of smiles! 💛🧩 The morning began with a beautiful whale jigsaw puzzle being pieced together and the proud smile when that last piece went in said it all! 🐋💙

🙏 There was also time for peace and reflection, as one of our residents closed their eyes and relaxed while listening to the Lord’s Prayer.

🏐 The afternoon brought out the giggles during our beach ball game one resident kissed the ball and called it their “baby,” while another cheekily tried to throw it at staff (with some encouragement from friends! 😉).

🏓 And finally, our lounge transformed into a ping pong arena! Balls were flying everywhere (they looked a bit like oranges 🍊), there was some cheeky “blowing” to help the ball along, and lots of competitive spirit to end the day.

A truly wonderful day of fun, friendship, and laughter at lisbeth💜🩷💜

We got our hands messy and decorated our own biscuits! We had loads of fun with icing and lots of sprinkles.

The residents dipped biscuits in coloured icing and scattered sprinkles and most importantly indulged with a lovely cup of tea or coffee.

Our residents wanted to show our support! We decorated our own England shirts, footballs and flags. We also played some balloon football which turned into a couple rounds of keepyuppy.
