Another busy day, catting!

One more kitty safely caught tonight, two at the vets getting the care they need today and one happily released back home. Every little step counts 😻 more tails, more triumphs!

Meet Pat — our proud garden cat 😻😻

Pat has never known human touch, but she has lived alongside people, relying on them for food. After being neutered and returned, we were asked to help her and her colony find new homes as they were unable to continue living where they called home 🏡

That’s when a wonderful couple came forward, looking for a “project cat.” Pat lives life on her terms. She has her own outbuilding, comes and goes as she pleases, plays, eats, and enjoys her freedom…she is even partial to her toy mouse, she does all of this just without the cuddles 🥰

Her adopters adore her exactly as she is and we really are so happy for her, she found the perfect home! 🩷🩷

One day, she might decide humans aren’t so bad but until then, she’s living her best life, her way, is watched over and cared for😻

We always say, there is a home out there for every cat - you just have to find it 😻😻

Not all cats can live indoors, not all cats want or enjoy cuddles, not all cats can be touched but what they can all be, is happy, loved and adored ☺️

Another week, more lives changed 🐱

This week we have seen more cats come through our door, more spays, more castrates, and daily vet visits to ensure they’re safe, healthy, and healing ❤️‍🩹

These beautiful, fearful souls are now recovering with us after being neutered. This is a vital step in preventing established colonies from growing out of control. Every single procedure is a step toward a more manageable, compassionate future for feral and stray cats.

It’s a privilege to help them. To show them kindness. To be part of their journey 😻💕

No more breeding for this lot. We still have more cats to do but so far we have done well 🙌

Little Bunny 🐰 🐱

This dainty little lady is just 4–5 weeks old and weighs a teeny 500 grams! She has already been through so much 😢

Bunny was found limping and taken to our vets. Thankfully, thanks to the incredible work of our veterinary team, X-rays revealed no breaks, just some swelling that will heal with time, rest, and TLC 🐈‍⬛

Our wonderful vet team have done a brilliant job making sure she was safe and comfortable, and now she’s come under our wing to continue her journey. With her baby blue eyes still shining and the fluffiest coat coming through, Bunny has a bright future ahead 🖤🖤

Asda McDonald is the sweetest little survivor! 😻
He is a charming 1 year old boy who has been through a lot after a car accident led to the amputation of his back leg. He is now a proud tripod and is adjusting beautifully and learning to live life on all three paws 🐾

Asda is a total lovebug. He purrs, chirps, head bops, and wants to be all over you, especially if you come bearing treats! 🐟 🍗

He is playful, affectionate, and thrives on attention 😺

Due to his past accident and slightly clumsy nature, Asda will need a safe indoor only home where he can explore and snuggle without the dangers of the outside world 🗺️

He has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on flea and worm treatment. He is ready to start the next chapter of his life 🖤🖤

The face of depression 💔

When a cat is surrendered over to a vets or a rescue, it’s not always a simple change. Many cats can experience depression from being taken out of their familiar environment. They may stop eating, drinking, or interacting with others. It’s a heartbreaking transition, and they can feel lost without the comfort of their home and owner.

Stewie is this cat, he is depressed and shutdown. Thanks to our wonderful veterinary team he is now safe with us after being signed over 🖤

Some rescue cats are like daffodils in spring. They endure the harshest cold spells and still manage to bloom when the time is right. You plant the bulbs with love and patience, then wait—knowing that, in time, they’ll come to life in the most beautiful way. 🌼🐾

Meet Asda McDonald 🐈‍⬛ any guesses where he was found? 😹

A brave little tripod cat who’s proven that nothing can hold him back! 🖤 This young black cat was found injured by a kind lady and rushed to our vets for emergency treatment.

Unfortunately, his leg couldn’t be saved, but thanks to Veterinary Surgeon Michaella’s incredible work, his wound is healing beautifully and cleanly 🥹

Asda McDonald may have three legs, but he’s got a heart full of love and a belly that never stops eating! He licks his bowl clean and purrs non stop, showing us just how resilient he is. 💪🏽

Now under our care, Asda is receiving all the TLC, food, and love he deserves as he continues to recover. We’re so excited to watch him thrive! ☺️

🐾 Colony Cats: A Hidden Challenge 🐾

Did you know that feral and stray cat colonies are growing all around us here in the UK? From residential areas and industrial yards to farms, allotments, and even rubbish tips, these colonies are everywhere; often unnoticed, sometimes thought to be owned, and occasionally too fearful to be seen. Sadly, many of these cats aren’t neutered, contributing to the ever growing numbers. 😿

One of the colonies we’ve been working on recently has 12+ cats, and we’ve been helping a kind lady who feeds and cares for them. While some of the larger charities have turned her away, we’ve stepped in to help by getting these cats neutered. It’s a crucial step to stop the overpopulation and ensure a better future for them. 🐱💕

Each cat from this colony will cost us on average £90, flea, wormer, neuter, microchip, health-check 🏥

Today, we have three of the boys in for neutering: Richard, Richmond, and Ricky. All of them will be returned to their colony once they have recovered, safe and healthy. 🏡✨

🚨 MISSING CAT 🚨

Bovril is missing from Bircham Road in Southend on sea. He was wearing an orange collar when he went missing but this may have now come off. Any sightings please call his worried owners, or take a photo and send to them to confirm it is or isn’t him.

Bovril is microchipped and neutered and is a nervous ex rescue cat 🐈‍⬛

💝 Saffy and Abby: A Bond Like No Other - Indoor only home 🏡

🐱 Saffy (10 months) and Abby (18 months), are two incredibly special cats looking for a loving home together. These two girls have had a rough start in life, but their bond is unbreakable. Despite their challenging pasts, they have found comfort and joy in each other’s company, and we are looking for experienced owners who will offer them the love, patience, and understanding they truly deserve 💕

Saffy (Calico) has had a roughy few starts to her life. She was found in a car engine, with burn marks and oil stains on her fur; yet she’s a brave, loving soul. Saffy enjoys a good fuss on her terms and will happily snuggle with you on the sofa or in bed. She’s known for giving sweet, gentle nibbles on your chin when she’s feeling affectionate 😻😻

💕Abby (Tortie), was rescued from a colony on a farm. She is a little more reserved and prefers to observe from a distance. She’ll happily take treats from your hand but avoids physical touch. Despite her cautious nature, she is incredibly bonded with Saffy and will thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can gradually build trust ☺️

These two girls are inseparable. They play together, comfort each other, and are each other’s emotional support. We are looking for a home where they can continue to grow and feel safe, ideally with experienced cat owners who understand the needs of shy or sensitive cats.
