Understanding why we do what we do… 👇

We get a lot of horses through the gates that have a few… quirks. 😅

🔹 Hard to catch
🔹 Won’t load
🔹 Won’t stand at the mounting block
🔹 Snatches their feet away
🔹 Nervous of new people
🔹 Nappy hacking alone
🔹 Doesn’t like the farrier
🔹 Fidgets to be groomed…

The list goes on and on and on!!

The easy option would be to say “it’s got problems”… but that’s not really fair, is it?

Most of the time they’re just worried, confused, or they’ve never been shown another way.

One of my favourite things is watching those little wins. The horse that finally walks onto the trailer. The one that stands quietly to get on. The one that realises people aren’t actually that scary.

My team deserve so much credit because they put the graft in every single day. They don’t just ride horses—they give them the best chance of finding the right home, and that’s something I’m really proud of. ❤️

A jack of all trades that has enough in the engine to go affiliated!

Motivated owners, she now needs to be sold 😞 this is through no fault of her own.

One thing you’ll notice about us at Verdi’s…

When we say a horse is family-friendly, we don’t just guess. 🤔 we get the FULL picture

We test them in real life… with actual family chaos. 😂

Unlike a lot of professional yards, we’re juggling work and family too, and with the six-week holidays starting tomorrow you’ll probably see a lot more of this kind of content!
(Sorry not sorry 🙈😂)

So… everyone meet Jasper. A 15hh, 7yrs Connemara who’s just set the standard for taking absolutely everything in his stride… children, bikes, dogs, random shrieking, sibling rivalry, and all the other tiny-human nonsense they seem to bring with them. 🤣

Safe to say, he didn’t bat an eyelid. 🙌
