An interesting development…

FIFA have seen how well preparation is coming along for the woof cup, and have got in touch to ask if we here at the daycare would be willing to offer them some help in organising the far inferior Football World Cup.

So, in an unexpected turning of the tables, it’s time for the daycare dogs to put our staff through their paces…

Stay tuned on our socials for the upcoming keepy-uppy competition, it’s likely to be absolute carnage.

If you think your dog could teach our canine carers a trick or two (especially Sara), it’s time to dust off their soccer boots and book them in for this month’s Woof Cup fun!

Ziggy did so well today

Ziglet had his first experience at the Dog Adventure Centre today. His report card says he made some new friends, human and canine, and, unbelievably he fell asleep in the cafe afterwards!!

Thank you to Sara and the team!

Ronnie has decided to steal one of the staffs raincoats!

He is not a fan of wet weather as the best of times.

Not all dogs need to wear a raincoat many are more than happy to go out and about in wet weather.

If they are young, old or their immune system is compromised then it is seriously worth considering for the protection of their health.

If they are very fluffy or take a long time to dry off it may be worth considering for your sanity. Remember it is important to make sure your dog is dried off properly after walking in wet weather or going for a swim the best protect their skin.

What is a scent lab session?

This is a great opportunity for dogs to get some one on one time with our canine carers.

We can tailor the experience to the needs of the dog:

Anxious - include some licking activities to help them calm down, and the sniffing will help release the feel good hormones.

Overexcited - lets burn off some of that excess energy so that they are better equiped to deal with the other dogs in an acceptable way.

Unsure - take it slow and steady to help them understand what needs to be done to engage their super poewred nose.

We don’t often highlight individual Dogs at the Dog adventure Centre, but this week Mildred has been on real form so we created a reel just for her.

This sassy lady always brings a smile to our faces even when she is up to mischief! Be it chasing a herding ball to trying to chew a tyre, she always has a glint in her eye 😍

If your dog needs more than play all day care and deserves the best then contact us to get booked in

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

After the long-awaited draw to see which city will host the 2026 Canine Woof Cup, we are ecstatic (albeit a little overwhelmed) to announce that the honour goes to…

BARKSVILLE!

Uhhh, yeah. So that’s something.

We mentioned we put our name in for consideration but we never expected to actually get chosen.

It’s now up to us to organise an exceptional opening ceremony, perform the national anthem before the first match, and paint a mural that shows off Barksville’s rich history.

We now need all the help we can get to pull this off.

If your dog has what it takes or has a total love of footballs then get hem booked in.
