And a maiden voyage overseas, lots of firsts for my frame.

With natural moss, recoloured, and the handmade mushrooms adorning the outside. It will fit very well into the nursery's forest theme.

The travel iron arrived for the fabric paint printing on the Tote bags, royal mail rescheduling x3 later.

Followed by one last prototype stenciled.

And NOW the first bag had been printed 🎉

I found this little one whilst coming back from lunch at work, quote big it was caught in the heat of the day,

This is why all naturally deceased specimens are left for 48hrs, as sometimes you can put them on a cool shaded place they recover and once I had a bee on my curtains I got to release, happy ending 🥰

This naturally deceased Comma Butterfly is fully dried into form and frame ready.

Its wing's edge like burnt paper with flame orange and burnished speckles give it great camouflage in leaf litter.

Buddlea, a love/hate relationship.

The Bees and Butterflies love it, it smells nice, its colourful but also invasive, does property damage and grows rampantly anywhere it can.

But I appreciate watching for Butterflies and identifying this Red Admiral, I could sit and watch for hours.

A very good friend of mine designed my logo for me 5 yrs ago, with art deco detail, bees for the first bees that started this adventure and the name I came up with whilst working a late shift as a chef.

Mourning Glory has been my support in many ways, mentally, financially and socially.

It grew gradually over the years but the prices I put on my artwork has only ever funded more art supplies , craft fair fees, residency cost of the emporium as its not paying my mortgage but just paying for itself to continue.

It will be 5 yrs this year and although my productivity has been sporadic recently I appreciate my small following and it's support.

Mourning Glory Mechandise is slowly coming into fruition and I am so excited 😊
