This huge chunk of love is Logan the Maine C**n 🤩

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Logan and his rather timid brother Loki who is a British Short-hair.

Whilst timid Loki kept himself to himself Logan would throw himself at me (literally) and if that was for a groom on the kitchen side then so be it - just look at the size of him, totally big cat lion vibes !

when it's time for me to leave most kitty clients are ok .... a full bowl, clean litter tray, and a fuss or play and they're happy to say goodbye....

Mabel used to avoid me.

Mabel used to hide when I arrived.

Often, all I'd see was a flash of her tail as she ran upstairs when I entered her house.

Sometimes, I didn't see her at all - the only sign of her being there was an empty bowl and used litter tray.

Just look at her now, demanding a fuss and giving me happy headbutts, go Mabel 🤩

A lovely little meow moment with Liquorice and Snowy (I bet you can't guess which one is which 🤔🤭)

Whilst cats generally don't enjoy getting wet (but there are always exceptions to a rule) many cats enjoy a dripping or lightly running tap either to drink from or simply give a bop to 😄

Happy Caturday, and what a scorcher it is ☀️

The PDSA has created this info graphic with tips on helping your pussycats stay safe in the sun and during heatwaves.

Here's a couple of my own:

💧mix a drop or two of water into your cats wetfood at mealtimes to help keep them hydrated, especially if you've noticed they're not visiting their water bowl/fountain very often.

⚠️ Avoid offering a gel filled pet cooling mat to sleep/rest on - these are easily damaged by cat claws, and the gel content may be harmful if licked or ingested. Instead you could opt for a foam filled one, or go handmade - prepare a damp towel, folded (placed on top of rubber mat or something to protect your carpet)

✅️ lickilix cat yoghurt sachets can be kept in the fridge for a quick refreshing and hydrating treat.
