Just a little post to say hello to you all and that I am missing my grooming very much.

I am busy doing all I can to recover and rebuild my health following my cardiac arrest and all the complications it has left me with.

Thankyou so much to everyone for all your support and patience allowing me to concentrate on me for this what seems a never ending time.

Hope you are all enjoying the spring time and that you and your dogs are all well. Much love Sarah❤️Photos to remind you how much I love my job.❤️

Does your pet’s fur protect them from the cold? ❄️

In most cases, yes! But in really wet and cold weather, if your pet isn't able to keep active or get themselves somewhere warm, their fur coat may not be enough. Like us humans, our pets, though thankfully rarely, can develop a dangerous and potentially deadly condition called hypothermia.

Any pet can become seriously ill if the temperature of their body drops too low, and acting quickly and doing the right thing could save your pet’s life.

Here are some key symptoms to look out for during the winter months! And if you suspect your pet may have hypothermia, it’s important to call your vet straight away and follow their advice ⚠️

[Visual description: Infographic about hypothermia in pets. Signs and symptoms include; shivering, drowsiness, confusion, clumsiness, pale gums and loss of consciousness/collapse. What you should do; 1. Call your vet straight away and follow their advice. 2. Get your pet out of the cold. Take them somewhere warm (not hot) and sheltered. 3. If your pet is awake, try to get them to drink some lukewarm (not hot) water. 4. If your pet is wet, use towels to dry them by rubbing them over. Change the towels when they become damp. 5. Be careful not to heat your pet up too quickly, this can be dangerous. Use blankets and towels under and over them to keep them warm. Using hot water bottles and heat pads will heat them too quickly and may cause burns.]

❤️❤️❤️Thankyou for your patience with me whilst I’m not able to groom. I am busy focusing on my recovery but miss your dogs and yourselves all the time.
I have been fortunate to have some lovely groomers locally that were willing and able to take on some of my dog grooms during my long term recovery. This illness was not foreseen and is out of my control but I’m facing it head on and kicking it’s backside so I can get my health and life back.
Thank you to Carol 💐of Grooms by Carol, Laura 💐of Dogs Rule Grooming and Maisie 💐of Peach Perfect for taking care of all my customers dogs in my time of need. Knowing they are in safe hands is such a comfort to me whilst I’m out of action.
Any customers needing an appointment for their dogs groom do get in touch with one of the above furry godmothers. ❤️❤️❤️

❤️Little something special to do with your gorgeous dogs this month my lovelies. Enjoy and please share your photos of your precious moments to Madison’s page. I love to see your dogs and as I’m temporarily out of action from grooming them at the moment I appreciate all the 🐾eye candy 🍭 I can get to comfort my soul.❤️

🐕 Hi, I’m Maple, Head of Wellbeing at Rococo Garden!
This is an appeal to all my fellow dogs. The humans here are dog-crazy… I could really use a break! So, I’ve arranged for your owners to get in for FREE! Just make sure they don’t let go of your lead—they get easily lost without you! 😄

Here’s how it works:
🐾Each of you can bring one human for free.
🐾 In November, the Garden is open at weekends. Here are the dates: 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 November. There is no need to book.

You'll want to stir them towards the cafe for breakfast! I recommend the bacon or sausage bap and ice cream for pudding of course. 🥓🍦

P.S. - Tell Karen in the coffee wagon Maple said not to hold back on the dog biscuits! 🦴

❤️I have finally accepted defeat after this weeks hospital appointment.
I will be taking time out of my dog grooming for a while in order to solely focus on getting my health back to the best it can be following my trauma earlier this year. I will miss you all and your beautiful doggies but I have to take time to do as I’m told for the best outcome possible. No rehearsal, one life, so I am doing it.
I will be back for sure, when I am the best me possible.
I will be in contact with everyone and will update social media of when I can start taking bookings again. ❤️

🍁 Autumn is one of our favourite times to get outside and enjoy special moments with our pets!

🐾 The leaves begin to change colour 🍂, pumpkin-spiced lattes 🎃 become the perfect winter warmer on those picturesque walks 🚶, and Halloween brings heaps of fun! 👻✨ This season is all about transformation and change.

However, with the beauty of autumn comes cooler temperatures, shorter days, and a few hazards you should be aware of to keep your pets safe. 🐶🐱

Here are just a few dangers to watch out for...👇
